This is probably one of my favourite ever cars now, owned and drove one as a daily for 11 years and I loved every minute of it. Its now off the road ready to be refreshed because I just cant bear to part with it. Looking forward to the next vid!

Really enjoying the series so far, was shocked it added 12bph, though it would be about 5 tbh. Was shocked about the beard disappearing as well hahaha

Think it needs to be the same driver for both cars to avoid driver mods / weight differences too

I had a RB 182 cup and just put a itg panel filter in the air box I had no idea the standard air box was so restrictive.

Definitely the first mod we'd recommend anyone do as it's the most bang for the buck.

It doesn't seem possible, to gain that much, just thru adding a better air flow delivery!!

3:35 This hole in the intake hose is maybe the responsible for the big change(loss) un BHP versus the Ktec?

Potentially. I can’t remember if I ripped it while filming but even if I didn’t, I doubt there’s much air loss to the airbox. Even if it did I’d estimate 2-3bhp?

@@ShedLifeUK Maybe air loss + hoter air by the engine bay suck at the hole hose. And the intake "can" give 3,5% more BHP,this is more than 2-3HP in this case. The Ktec seem good,far away of the engine and protected behind the battery.. That the only way i can find 12 BHP :/
