Sir for the same reason you mentioned we do need safer cards with stronger chassis and better brakes so as to minimize road accidents and deaths. Because of unsafe cars and poor education for buying stronger cars, India has one of the highest road fatalities in the world. It's time now to get educated and atleast spread awareness about road safety rather than keep on saying India is not developed and this n that. If we continue to have this mentality then India will never grow into a mature car market. What is stopping you and me to spread awareness. But instead I see a strong resistance in regards better cars on India roads. Car companies and govt needs to figure out a way that even basic car models come equipped with safety features like Airbags and ABS without sky rocketing prices of cars.

As a buyer, we shouldn't blame car manufacturers for making cars low in safety and high in features and mileage as we itself are responsible for creating such market. So as a buyer we’ll need to change our priority from more mileage and less safety to more safety and less, if not, good mileage. Wait for another few months and every car manufacturing in India will have airbags as the basic facility.

I Am Rahul who said kwid is a good car i clocked 23650km in one year no issues things what i didn't like is the brakes not good and sometimes the engine noise irritates, other than that its a good go at the speed of 140 kmph it was stable

Most hero cycles have no gears. Some cycles have 30 gears and road bikes can go 100KPH.

I own a manual Wagon R and I'm pretty satisfied with it. I have read in some reviews that the kwid(. 8)has some vibrations in low revs. Best thing to do would be to take a long test drive of both the cars and go with the one which makes you happy.

if you are a tall person say 5'10 and above then there is no car better than wagon r in the price point, but petrol mileage is not very great but cng option is worth it in City conditions.

Alto K10 is still selling more, and it's quality and drivability is still better. Kwid has the better feature set.

They won't. Their logo is enough for them to sell a huge number of cars.

its not logo, its the little things after sales, maintenance, low part failure etc

No i have Renault duster for last 3 years ,,superb engine , technically far far superior then maruti , good after sale service ..renault with kwid is now here to stay in india
