That is so funny, I had this same idea just 2 years ago, I just couldn’t figure out the bottom part, but I knew that it was possible.

Main mechanism is bottom tank and water displacement from bottom tank to top of left side water tank and it should be quick, you can do it without applying outside energy. You can use additional force of falling sphere. Here VT is 55 m/s, we control it to 20 m/s, rest speed of falling sphere is used by mechanism to transfer water quickly

When the trap door opens to allow the sphere to pass there would be significant downward pressure from the water and the sphere would not pass and the water column would fall. There would need to be a series of gates like a lock that ships use to pass dams.

This works on a *SMALL* scale and not a large scale because of several reasons. 1, the number of spheres in the water column must be kept constant, otherwise water levels will drop below the drop of ledge, thus ending the cycle. This effect is less likely to be as visible/problematic on a small scale. 2, the energy required to open and close the gates at the bottom of the columns in not unsubstantial, and it’s arguably quite significant, especially at the proposed size.
Do watch above mechanism, it is easy apply this type of mechanism to maintain water level in water tower

@@RenewJoule the float has to displace some amount of water, and to get that water back requires additional energy input. Hypothetically Even a ram pump, which doesn’t require electricity, uses *energy*. There’s no such thing as free energy.
@RenewJoule10 ай бұрын
@@embers_falling it gets water back with gravitational impact, electricity only require to open and close gates and to hold sphere at top of air tower, for sphere release mechanism

I don't think it will work. When you open the left side gate to insert the ball, it will lose water volume equivalent to the ball volume. Then by closing it and opening the left side gate, when it starts rising, the water from the vertical column/pipe (left side) will try to rush into the bottom tank, as the ball enters the vertical pipe it will create a space for water (equivalent to ball volume). It is very important to refill that need immediately without consuming energy, or else it will not work 24*7 as claimed. The principle used to refill should be so efficient that it should consume very little or no energy at all. Let's say we are trying to achieve it using gravity. The water that is going to enter will face pressure as the water level in the main vertical pipe is high, hence it will not enter the lower tank without external pumping.

This is interesting. I developed the SAME EXACT system before. I have dozens of diagrams I've written up. Granted this model is very simplified as it doesn't account for a few energy loss factors nor a couple of the effects of fluid dynamics. Still a fun system design though. There is one huge flaw that debunks the whole system, unfortunately. The energy to LIFT the ball doesn't come from no where. It comes from the water at the top of the cylinder. An example of this flaw is imagine you let fluid dynamics move the ball from the bottom of the cylinder to the top of the cylinder. You move the ball to the generator. Now, you have less water (the area of the ball worth) at the top then you did before. This is important because thanks to Bernoulli we know the pressure at the bottom of the cylinder has less potential difference than the water at the top. You're essentially replacing the potential energy of the top of the water w the ball. It turns out, it's actually more efficient to just move the water from the top of the cylinder to run the generator. In either case, you need to generate the energy to move water from the bottom of the system to the top, which is proportional to the generator output plus losses. I put a lot of time into this model as well. It may not be the best but you learn a lot from it and it makes for a decent battery of sorts!
@Dahbby014 ай бұрын
"Unfortunately. The energy to LIFT the ball doesn't come from nowhere. It comes from the water at the top of the cylinderé" NO SIR it instead comes from the buoyance of the Archimede force exerted by the water on any object that has a density. so this system works, sorry.

Violation of the law of conservation of energy. In other words, the apparatus 'consumes' energy.

Yes energy used by mechanism like to open-close lock gates and push water to top of water tower, but here natural forces like gravity and buoyancy help us to push water up from bottom water tank. Total 600kw electricity consumed by all mechanism and energy generated equal to 10400kw

@@RenewJoule Igor has more or less the same system. What we can say about the energy is that in fact all the energy that is at work inside the system comes from one unit of water traveling down. The less dense object goes up when submerged in the liquid, but it goes down outside, therefore those two cancel each other out. Surely the water must drain out of the column as the doors open to let the ball drop in. Try a gas that vaporizes at a subterranean temperature, burry some pipes in the flowing ground water, as the vapor rises to the surface , and the above ground temperature is cold, condense the gas into a liquid as it flows down hill into a large holding tank. From the holding tank it descends down several hundred feet of pipe to impart motion to a turbine device to generate electricity then flow back to the pipe submersed in ground water to be vaporized again..

@josephbunani34963 ай бұрын
these issues can be solve, the main problem is the gate mechanism, it need too much pressure to close and open the gate,.
@PerpetualMan223 ай бұрын
@@josephbunani3496 I commend your efforts, perpetuallity is the trend of the future. Good idea to use buoyancy , next I recomend you try same concept with a gas. As the gas rises to the surface in winter's cold it condenses in a heat exchanger that is sloping down hill (could be warming the snow off solar panels). the condensed gas flows down and accumulates where it falls several hundred feet down a pipe and hits a turbine the spins a generator, then the liquid flows through some pipes in the flowing ground water where it boils and ascends to the surface. a closed loop system, gas like butane would work...happy experimenting

Long conveyer/timing belt control the speed of falling spheres, terminal velocity of spheres from 100 meters hight is around 54-55 meters/sec, we have to break it to 20 meters per second so we require long traveling/timing belt

On the right column we have gravitational drop and on 125 high the sphere need 5 seconds. What time will take a sphere on ascension side?
@RenewJouleАй бұрын
In water column(buoyancy tower) from bottom to top sphere takes more than 60 seconds because we have more than 18 spheres in water column so we can't give more speed in water column and we require minimum 8 spheres in water column to push and move top sphere to air column(gravity tower), we control speed to going up in water column

at the bottom of the rotational shaft there needs to be air space so the balls would accumulate and by weight push other balls underwater
