Ive been at the ride all my life, but never had rode it. My grandfather is Paul Jordan, he was the guy that made the ride every year, 2024 was his last year and it was very sad because i may never get to ride the ride because i live an hour and a half away and i dont go towards Renfro Valley much. The only time i went was during the ride to help my mom and aunt run the registration. Im glad to see that all the guys enjoyed the ride and i use that "you cant park there!" saying everyday now because of this video.

Thanks for watchin and for sure, epic conditions. I see this one as a true premier event and defiantly on the more challenging side of the dual sport spectrum.

Great video. I chose not to ride Renfro this year but it looks like I remember...WET! Lots of good line choices getting around others. Good job.

PTSD that was funny, we had the same reaction. I think we are all a little scared from 2022.

This video is super misleading mike, you make it look way too easy.😂 still fun though. Can't wait for next year.

Pretty much pure survival riding trying to keep up with the fast guys. I need slower friends! And appreciate ya watchin, thanks!

Poor fella on the 72 couldn’t even keep it upright on the wide road

I know right he just completely switched off? But I appreciate his content contribution. Thanks for watchin!

@@mikecolesvids gets to be a long day out there. Many underestimate the ‘dualsport’

Is the “you can’t park there” an inside joke? I don’t get it.

Yea just being a dick, sorry if you were on the receiving end. Just trying to keep it jocular. Thanks for watchin, if ya dig the content please consider subscribing. We leave in 27 days to spend the summer in Idaho. The riding out there is a whole different galaxy compared to the east coast woods!

Nope, I’m out here in Idaho. It’d be awesome to see you out on the trail sometime. I’m in southeast Idaho but we ride all over the state.
@mikecolesvidsАй бұрын
@@shawnh2590 right on! I was thinkin you were in the ride last weekend. Do you have any experience with Silver Creek Plunge? We're looking for a place to ride after our time in McCall in late June.
@shawnh2590Ай бұрын
No but I will definitely be looking into it. I’m always looking for new stuff. Are you going to be around salmon this year?
@mikecolesvidsАй бұрын
@@shawnh2590 Not sure but have plenty of freedom. I've set some hard targets like McCall/Burgdorf, Stanley, Ketchum, Driggs, Smokey Bar area. I've never been to Salmon but do know that's where the trail clearing guys started last summer. I've just never been north of Challis. Always open to suggestion tho.

You missed the left hand turn at 1:09 to continue on the advanced section.

Dang, sure did, that stinks! I was so fixated on the fella in front of me with the giant tank. That was a tricky one to spot, had to watch a few time till I saw that green arrow. There's a reason I barley ran out in the front of our group. I suck at the nav. Out west I use a GPS, a phone map app, and paper maps and still get lost ha! Thanks for watchin Jeff, really appreciate it!
