This series is so funny, given the original show Dick hosted, which was all about conservation and simple living on a homestead. Quite the dramatic change in his life, aside from his love of building stuff and solving design problems, of course.

Dick your ingenuity with all your creations as an engineer is just mind blowing. I pray I marry a man like you with skills beyond what only a few men can do. I mean fix everything , cook and find ways to making everything work, building and growing produce is like your super human and I appreciate that you try and make it work no matter what. Angel is LUCKY AS HELL to have you but make no mistake you are also LUCKY AS HELL to have her. It just amazes me the ingenuity and creativity of what the 2 of you come up with. Bonjour Dick, Angel. J'ai suivi beaucoup de vos émissions télévisées, et je vous apprécie beaucoup. Aujourd'hui, 27 août 2023, dans l'émission, une de vos amies, posait du papier peint chez elle. Mais comme vous savez, les murs d'anciennes demeures, sont rarement droits. Si je me souviens, la largeur d'un papier peint, mesure 43 cm. Mesurez, de gauche à droite, en haut, au milieu, puis en bas, 43 cm, ou autre largeur du papier peint, et avec une longue règle, tracez un trait vertical. Comme cela, si le mur n'est pas droit, cela sera parfait. Sinon, la différence se verra de plus en plus. J'espère vous avoir aidé. Amicalement Pascal DAFFE.

Whomever sees this today do not buy any prints from dick and angel Strawbridge because she would NOT answer me when I asked her on public forum. I’m sorry to hear today Michael that you were NOT given credit. I commend you! Your truly talented, and those two will have NO luck going forward ripping talented people like yourself off! You have more talent in your little finger than they have on their whole 12 acreas. Scoundrels like these will get bitten in the end. Head up go forward, because they CAN NOT & WILL NOT take your talent.....period! They are jealous of you!.....period!

Allez encore des rediffusions , il y en à marre , sur le programme , marqué inédit , on nous balance des rediffusions , personne ne dit rien, on nous prend pour des « imbéciles » toutes les chaînes, c’est pareil, les groupes principaux se les repassent , programmes , qui leur reviennent pas cher, surtout avec les pub, c’est pitoyable !

I do love this show, but was very disappointed to see her paint the beautiful wood work in the van and the boat. Why not get a van or a boat that did not have the beautiful wood work and needed renovating. I was sick seeing that. They have done such incredible work, why ruin something that does not need to be fixed. You know there have to be dilapidated vehicles and boats they could transform. They have done that with everything else there. Some of us do not know who Michael is or exactly what some people below are accusing them of. It seems they have shown people helping them with their art, so it does not make sense when you say they are stealing someone else's work. Being an artist, I find some can get pretty petty. If someone copies me, it is a form of flattery. If they claim it was their design, well, I know and God knows. That is all that matters. My icon is my version of a geshia doll, the bottom is a hand beaded egg. The first egg artist, I loved her and her work, did the first one, but many of us will change it quite a bit and do our own version. This happens quite often. I do not know if they copied Michael's drawings or what. It would be interesting to hear what they have to say in their defense regarding the matter.

I see they make a lot of activity but to stoop so low to take from another especially a sensitive kind genius creative being like Michael Petherick is definitely harming their own work. I cannot watch these people any more. Sad day

I cant think of a worse series on TV right now. They give the impression they are broke and do everything themselves which is utter rubbish on both counts.
