Haha the newspaper ad about E.D. in the background was cracking me up.

Hi great vid.. I am currently converting a Yahama/Mariner 40BE from remote to tiller and having a hard time determining correct tiller needed. The one you are working w/in vid. looks correct for my needs. Do you know the part #? Is it a 2 cable push/pull? TY

I believe this was a single cable, but honestly it sold a long time ago. What I usually do is determine my year and model from the serial, go on boats.net and find the part number for what i need, and then search on ebay or various forums using that number

You still in Belize? Background noise and vegetation seem like you probably are, but I noticed the AC receptacle in your workshop looks like the American style (I guess you can put in whatever works with your tools).

Hey Mr Max, Im trying to find out the best 3 or 4 outboard motors to try to find so I can start parting them out for my new business. I know information like this is quite powerful and am willing to pay you a fee. Paypal? how can i contact you? thanks.

Why limit yourself to 3 or 4? Why not see what is available, acquire them and start to part them out? When I was parting out motors I barely had them apart before the parts were sold. Lower units, fuel delivery systems, heads, ignition systems, flywheels (always really valuable), starter motor, hoods if they were nice, tilt/trim units, and props. Get a motor, rip it apart, take pictures and throw it in a bin and stick it on ebay, usually those parts were gone in 3-4 days. I was always going for volume, so I would buy these busted motors 10 at a time from marinas and spend the weekend tearing them down, rinse and repeat. Good luck
