In this video I talk about the repatha injection and how it works. Its a pcsk9 inhibitor and drastically lowers LDL cholesterol. Similar to praluent.

Just administered by fourth injection of Praluent/Repatha; lifechanging to say the least. I'm 73 years old and have never been able to tolerate Crestor/statins. I had severe reactions to them. Thank God I went to my heart specialist a couple of months ago. My primary care physician NEVER called or recommended Repatha when my LDL was so bad on my lab work.

Hello, stent was inserted 3 times because my triglyceride rate was very high. I am a Lipitor user. First I use 10mg, then 20mg, now 40mg. I have severe nasal congestion and memory loss. When I did research, I learned that it was an injection and I talked to my doctor today. He told me I can use Repatha. Now I will order the medicine and start using it. I watched your video and it gave me courage. I will comment again in a while. Greetings from Turkey :)

I know this is a 7-month-old video and I'm amazed that you have so few views. I guess it's because you provide good information if you had said how horrible something was, you'd have millions of views lol. I have on the medication and have high hopes. Statins just caused too many problems for me. I like my muscles.

Repatha just about killed me. Be cognizant of Brain Fog, forgetfulness, vertigo, and oxygen starvation. Especially if you're asthmatic.

My first blood test after several months on Repatha was an LDL of 41, a year later it was 44, then I also went on a plant-based diet and now my latest (March 2024) is now 5. Yes, F-I-V-E, 5.

@@Footestomper you might want to check Dr. Ken Berry's utube on the European Report on Chloesterol. I believe there were about 19,000 people in it and people with lower LDL than 50 had 2 1/2 times higher death rate.

I cannot tolerate stations at all. Almost ended up in a wheel chair after the third different statin. After 3 weeks (!) My ldl went from 154 to 42 and hdl went up from 56 to 72. Amazing.

I'm on my second week with the first dose of Repatha. My cholesterol levels are very good right now from Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe. I'm thinking to go off of the Rosuvastatin (against my Drs advice) for a few months to see if my levels stay where they, or improve with just Repatha and Ezetimibe.

I have noticed i get facial movements in my sleep. It use to start 4 to 5 days after the shot. Now it started the day of the shot. It's like my cheeks have muscle movements and it actually wakes me up with a crazy noise. I'm not sure how to exactly explain how this feels. Has anyone else noticed this?

Anyone have a clue why after 90-days of having Repatha injections both my ApoB and LDL increased when replacing daily 40mG of Atovastatin? Sounds like adding LDL receptors to my liver basically replaced my Atovastatin effectiveness of creating less LDL. I'll see if my doctor will let me also add NEXLIZET(combination of 2 medicines, bempedoic acid and ezetimibe).

The class of medication isn't 'Repatha'. It's PCSK9 inhibitor.

In canada we have monthly Repatha injections…..that’s what I take….my ldl went from 250 to 70….no side effects that I can feel but maybe there are some. Crestor made me sick after 2-3 weeks.

Sadly this doesn't work for everyone. I experienced horrible side effects and had to get off the drug. It especially affected my muscles and eye sight. That is the problem with medications the side affects are worst than what ails you.

No ill effects whatsoever. Nocebo is nocebo. If you expect something bad to happen, it usually will.

Please do your research. I am suffering with terrible muscle pain . I only took 2 shots . I never had pain like this . I’ll take my chances with high cholesterol. I just pray these side effects go away .

@@zdenkapavsic270 That's fine. Just do a ketogenic diet with whole foods, no packaged 'keto' foods. Limit butter, add olive oil, walnuts, avocado, chia seeds. Walk for 30 minutes a day to reduce stress. This can be ten minutes three times a day. Don't eat after 7 pm or so. Don't eat before 7am. Make that window shorter less hours eating) if you can. Don't snack. Just eat 1 to 3 meals. Have your cholesterol checked after 3 months . It will be better (unless you have the Familial Hypercholesterolemia gene).

So my question is, does it lower all the cholesterol because I need cholesterol for my all my cells to function properly and for my brain to work properly. Does Rapatha only lower my LDL? Or all my cholesterol?
