In this episode of Wandering Wagners we repeated a Winter camping mistake, played in the snow and we announced the winner of the ‪@BLUETTIOfficial‬ AC200L giveaway!
We finally got a little snow so we decided to test out the ‪@JohnDeere‬ snow blower on our 'new' blacktop driveaway so we could easily get the ‪@NeXusRV‬ Wraith out of our attached garage and down the road for a fun Winter Camping trip. It made quick work of the little amount of snow we received haha
We traveled to ‪@OhioStateParks‬ Maumee Bay State Park in Oregon, Ohio where we found a site, and self registered. We didn't reserve ahead so our site wasn't plowed out... repeating our mistakes from winters past!
Since it was cold and snowy we were finally able to hike on parts of the trails that are normally flooded, so that was nice. Lynn demonstrated how to always be seen while hiking with bright pink pants HAHA
We were able to go ‪@Jeep‬ sledding, had a campfire, enjoyed the beautiful snowfall and wildlife. One of our favorite trips of this winter.
We put the ‪@VictronEnergyBV‬ MiltiPlus II x2 to the test again and it worked amazingly well! We cannot tell when we are on shore power vs inverter and that's just awesome!

Good luck, Piper, on the surgery. We have been down that road before with one of our dogs (knee caps were out). Jeep sledding looks super fun.

Greetings. I'm from Toledo, this is my 1st winter away from home. I donot miss that snow, ice, and blowing cold. Spending this winter in Arizona in the desert 🏜 absolutely beautiful. Im glad your enjoying Maumee Bay. It's very beautiful and busy during summer. Since your so close to Tony Packos off of Front and Consaul st. Great food. I wouldn't recommend taking your super c. Kinda small for parking. Enjoy your stay...

Enjoy AZ! Although we haven't really had a Winter here in Ohio... Pretty sad for a Winter. We had a record high for February that was almost 70! We are natives to the area😎

We will take any snow you don't want! ❄️❄️ piper isn't going to like being confined in a crate for weeks on end that's for sure but once she's healed she'll appreciate it haha

I had a Norcold 8 cubic foot refrigerator that was propane and AC powered which would quit working occasionally. Other times it worked fine. After reading an article about a similar problem, I discovered (in the manual) that it says it will automatically defrost after a couple of days and that you need to empty it until that is done, then reload it after it is done defrosting. That doesn't work for a longer camping trip. I finally bought a 10 cubic foot 12V refrigerator that seems to work fine.

Our fridge is a 12v fridge. It worked great for a year but after that it's been touch and go every few months.

There are times I miss my gas/electric refer but we have a residential refer and it works very well with our inverter. I still have drove our class a in the snow like ya all do!! Great video! Loved the bright Pink pants!! There are times I miss Ohio but today it was 77 here in Missouri.

We are going to wait to change the fridge but if it does it again, Mike Will change it for residential asap🤣 This Winter hasn't been very wintery... Warm and pretty much no snow. This was the biggest snowstorm we got all season☹️ definitely feeling like spring lately

With LifePo4 , a residential is a must have . A no brainer . Going to up our bank from 460 ah to 920 ah.

We went to a residential refrigerator and love it. We kept three frozen water bottles in the freezer and when we travel, we put them in the refrigerator and the temperature never drops.

If this one messed up again I'm sure Mike will buy a residential one. With our inverter, solar and battery it shouldn't be a problem to go residential now

Your clip of sledding shine the jeep reminds me of my cousins and I used to drag each other on a piece of aluminum roofing pulled by a 3 wheeler in the cow pasture. Keep up the great videos!❤

On the fridge, I know what might have happened. One of the other KZfaq channels I watch. They said, keep the cold air from the back of it. I guess the cold wind you had made the back of the fridge too cold. Put a cover over the vent.

Our fridge is insulated behind it. It really doesn't matter what the temp is outside. It's done that throughout the year at all temps and weather conditions

Get Mike a cab for that snowblower. Love the Jeep sledding 😂My Dad used to tow us with his Jeep in a flat bottom row boat. About 5or 6 of us would pile in and away we’d go. 🤣So much fun. 🙏Piper’s surgery goes good.

I don't find the editing difficult for the insta360, personally but I guess it would depend on everyone's specific abilities. I like the insta better than the GoPro 360 editing.

Nothing like camping in the winter. Campgrounds are much quieter and you have a natural cooler while grilling. A little different for me as I worked out in the stuff all day so it was nice to get back and relax inside but, I did get out in it.

Go 12V! I bought a GE for $900! After 3 rigs, I’m Never going back to LP! Plus if you go residential they are not made for the pounding of the road.

Try a carnivore diet for Piper…I’ve seen a lot of videos showing how it helps dogs needing surgery…or any dog for that matter.

She's getting TPLO surgery for a rupturing knee ligament that can't be fixed without surgery. It'll just get worse until it's a complete tear unfortunately.
