This Kia Spectra was overheating and losing coolant every time it ran. Turns out the radiator's plastic cap had cracked. We tried repairing the cap with JB Water Weld, but it couldn't adhere to the smooth plastic cap. In the end, we had to replace the whole radiator. Now, no more overheating, and the coolant leak is fixed.
Note about this radiator: After installing, we noticed ATF leaking from the Transaxle Cooling Lines that enter the bottom of the radiator. The line that was leaking was installed before the part was received. Upon inspection, we found the threads were damaged and the part had to be replaced. The new part worked just fine with no leaks, so it's possible that the part we received was just defective. Make sure to inspect all fitting on the radiator prior to installing this part.
