This is the best Video in the World for Pro Se's ! Thank you so much for such a great reassuring Video. I really appreciate your point about "Confidence".I am in a case now and the "issue of confidence" is a big one. When you have highly trained lawyers opposing you with unlimited budgets it can be extremely daunting. I am involved in a Federal District Case. Do you recommend any Data Bases services that that you found useful to research precedence or can the information just be googling cases now?

Our forensic accounting firm uses lexisnexis, it’s expensive but it’s great for doing research and lots of useful stuff especially for District Court. Do your research before purchasing the subscription. Also you may want to check out our videos on the “Greatest Pro Se Victory In 50 Years.” accountcenter.lexisnexis.com/

How is it remotely possible to 're-present', yourself in anything when a birth certificate is not personal identification? I know the answer.

I am doing a pro ce represent in a adverse possession of real property in CA. I have looked for a consult with both the free law offices and various attorneys from here to LA. Nobody seems to "do that kind of law". Even Real Estate Lawyers! I have a full set of West Anntonated Ca codes. Slightly out of date of course 2016s. The Law Librarians has been the only help by showing me how to draft forms. Do you have any tips or suggestions?

I have an attorney, he is not letting me speak directly with the forensic accountant that his firm chose, resulting in the forensic accountant spending time analyzing accounts that are not of importance in for what I need them to analyzed. As you said, I know my case and the history best. Is there a legal reason why the lawyer is not allowing me to communicate directly with the forensic accountant? I am being charged for accounts such as my children's savings from grandma and my new personal accounts, being looked at instead of my husband's. I'm feeling like it is just because they are looking to increase their billable hours.

My number one rule for dealing with attorneys and legal matters is: Protect Your Own Interests: While most attorneys are trustworthy professionals, it's important to stay informed about your case and ask for regular updates. If you have concerns about how your case is being handled, address them directly with your attorney. In my 40 years of forensic accounting I’ve never once had an attorney tell me I could not speak to the client directly. However, some attorneys do like to be there when the conversations take place so they can protect client attorney privilege.

What if the judge tries to tell you that you can't represent yourself that you have to have an attorney?

The right to appear pro se in a civil case in federal court is defined by Statute 28 USC 1654. Thus, with some limitations, anyone can appear pro se, anyone who appears before the court without an attorney is considered pro se. You may be in state court, but the same rules generally apply. Remember, even if you are pro se, you still need to put the time in to learn how to research the law and analyzing case law. If you don't put the time in to learn about the law, you may need the assistance of a lawyer, even if you are pro se.

Don't give any recognition to an ABA member as an officer o f the court especially on the bench. Insist on an jury with a jurist of their selection to preside over your matter criminal or civil. Especially insist that the transcript is an absolutely true account of everything that transpired.

I started to tear up when you said a reason to go pro ce might be when you know your case better than anyone else... My identity has been incredibly compromised by several companies after a collision. The worst part is being denied medical treatment for years while they hid their errors from me. The discrimination & everyones unwillingness to communicate the problem with me when I need medical attention is a battle in its self. Thank you for sharing. This was helpful and encouraging 🙇‍♀️📚📑🌠
