This is for guys that don’t really need/ want their blade to be as sharp as a razor, nor wants to learn how to use a wet stone. So I’d say it’s still has its value, just not for people like you and me

Whatever dude, who needs a knife past sharp if its gonna be used anyways. It's not like we use our knives to sit and cut paper all day.

I never let my knives get dull to begin with. If you take care of a knife and don't completely misuse it it's not hard to keep a good edge on a knife

Because the steel is super soft so his little tool will kinda do something to it. He is a showman and fun to watch but there is about 5 good reasons not to use this thing.

As a professional sharpener. I can assure you that this gimmick is destroying your blade. Just pull up numerous videos under a microscope what this single blade pull through sharpener is doing to your knife.
