I love the energy of the RE fandom/community! ❤ The fact that this is being made by dedicated and passionate fans and the great quality this Remake has is mind blowing! Considering that this is a fan project with limited (financial) resources they pulled it off superbly. I also appreciate that there're new areas to explore and additionally that they offer both the over-the-shoulder camera and the fixed camera angle. The "itchy tasty" scene is brilliant, really creepy. Thanks to Team Arklay's for your unremitting work! 💕

Yaknow I didn’t even realize these comments existed And I find it funny asf because I proposed the option so that everyone could play how they want to And what’s funnier is I prefer the fixed camera style of gameplay for resi 1, 2, and 3 0 and code Veronica as well I literally installed the re2 classic mod that returns the fixed camera angles for the resi 2 remake and I literally cannot go back (probably) But yes also I did play resi 4 on the ps2 lmao

This wouldn't be the place to look, then, because as good as this is, it's a remake of the remake. I want this, but the 1996 version. EVERYONE does the remake. I miss the REAL first one, though.

The lighting effects, ray tracing and fix camera angle adds a lot of thrill to this remake, which reminds me the surprise of BioHazard 0 and Biohazard Remake in Game Cube gave me 21 years ago

@@ROEnetworkboth Views are optional, based on your choice. Older fans want fixed, so we accommodate them and for those that came during RE4, we have accommodated them with over the shoulder. Now VR is something we can discuss later down the road and is being considered. I know in this video it appears that both fixed and OTS are mixed but that isn’t the case. We wanted to display both.

Everything in this trailer looks so good, but especially the spiders! As someone who has arachnophobia, I am excited to see how scared I get of those buggers, especially with how realistic they look(the more real, the creepier, after all). Can't wait to play this when it comes out!

Phenomenal work and i love that you can choose what playstyle you're most comfortable with. I wish they actually did this for RE1 & 2 remake...I know this is just an early build, but characters and gameplay mechanics still need to be polished. Other than that, the atmosphere and monsters look amazing 🔥

Okay, THIS looks absolutely amazing and I personally love we are given the OPTION to choose over the shoulder or fixed cameras. This way BOTH sides of the fandom can experience this to our heart's content!

Preferable for me (interesting for all): A combination of fixed cameras and over the shoulder view. An ingame cutscene followed by 3 or 4 fixed camera views and then camera goes with slow/weired movement over the shoulder, in combination with some enemy creep around the next corner, that would be amazing. There is so much potential left in different camera angels/movement in combinations with cutscenes and enemy comin/attacking. Think we saw that approch in RE4R SW in Pre-stage.

Wow man this is incredible! I love this franchise, but I especially love how the fans took initiative and took a remake into their own hands. If Capcom steals this idea it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world but I absolutely will play this game because it's clearly a labor of love and I want to partake in that as a fan myself.

This looks amazing. The atmosphere and lighting are fantastic, the characters, especially the undead and Hunters look damn near flawless. The only gripe I have is the weapons sounds and their recoil; as someone who's last 30 years has been around firearms, I have a tendency to nitpick it every time I see it in all media.

the detail on the monsters is what sells it for me, especially with the hunters who seem to be based on the RE3 remake parts, with the split like jaws and hyper aggressive pattern, also the gore, like that shot of Joshep's corpse and the dogs...yeah just like you imagined what the dogs did to him in the original Resident Evil.

If this is supposed to be a remaster, or Christ forbid another (( remake )), why the hell would I want to play as the chapped Jill Valentine who already starred in a failed entry? At the least, add a option to switch between the better options of the previous ones. they must be getting desperate if they are attempting to redo what was lightning in a bottle.

The very fact that they are using the bad (not) Jill from the 3rd (whatever that was supposed to be) remake? game is all i need to know of the game's "quality". There's no way in this universe they could meet that legendary bar of quality they did 20 years ago with the first game and its re-release that hit steam. Heck, when you peel back that Onion, they could not even do that with the recent batch of remake games.

Now THIS is Remake! Nice extra added features like the humanoid monster and rooms. RE 1 and 2 are the most RE Games held to true horror as intended that made them blockbusters. Will definitely be getting this.

Im very impressed with this fan made trailer. If capcom did give you an option of fixed or OTS they would be pleasing both fans of the game styles and not just going with OTS. But its remarkable how fans of the series can always produce great results.

I absolutely love these fan projects but really wish they wouldn't show anything until they were ready to release. The likelihood of Capcom throwing a cease and desist at the team is very probable now, which is really too bad, because this does look awesome.

The Hunters here seem to have been lifted from the Hunter Beta assets in the RE3make. And anyone else notice the spiders here use more of a black widow/garden spider design than the original hairy tarantula-esque design? It makes me wonder if the creators aren't planning to take a stab at remaking Code Veronica too, which is where giant black widow-style spiders debuted in RE canon...
