God, the custom shotgun was one of the only weapons that made my friend and I both whisper “Holy $&@%!” at the same time when he first fired it. It’s like every sound in that game had a maximum volume level except the custom shotgun and glass shattering.

I just love the custom shotgun sound effect, its one of my favorite sound effects in VG history. You know if you hear this sound effect you know thats Leon and not Claire! Even HUNK doesn't get the custom shotgun. Chris has the custom shotgun in the extreme battle game (available in the dual shock or gamecube versions of RE2).

The real fun begins at 3:25 when Leon got the Custom Remington M1100 Shotgun. The sound of that Shotgun is really Badass & the damage & spread is really Massive! The only downside is the Massive recoil, but you should be able to kill most enemies with such a Powerful Weapon!

98 RE2 is still better than the rushed 2019 they half assed for 65 bucks. Even the weapons in thw game have more of a nice sound than the travesty released by the new RE dev team. I love how the Remington custom has a kick of recoil, cuts zombies in half, destroys things and is a powerful weapon.

The custom shotgun was a thing of beauty, awesome power and Godlike recoil. The remake was pretty good but I feel like they really dropped the ball on the shotgun. It didn't have that same satisfying impact.

RE2 Shotgun, I salute you! Best shotgun out of the RE trilogy on PS1. RE 0/1 Shotgun = Sometimes takes 2-3 shots to kill a single zombie at mid-range (shit) RE 3 Shotgun = Might kill 1 zombie, and knock 2-3 other back (meh) RE 2 Shotgun = Kills 3-4 zombies at mid-range (right on!!)
