@@brandonmcgregor9912 “Assignment Ada” and “Separate Ways” were two separate modes from the Original RE4. Granted, the original’s AA basically functioned like a non-canon prototype demo for SW, with the only unique mechanic being that you needed to collect multiple Plaga samples, which each take up inventory space. I feel the only way AA could have been worthwhile for the remake would be if they really overhauled that mini-game to differentiate it from SW (or even turned it into a Wesker mode), plus maybe kept in Ada’s fight with Krauser (since it is no longer part of the canon SW’s story and thus would be more unique in AA). Given that and how the remake’s SW seems to already deliver more content than the original’s AA/SW combined, I am in this conflicted state where AA’s absence in the remake does not feel like a loss yet still feels like abandoned potential.

I think the most obvious stuff for they could have added as a final bonus would have been the P.R.L. 412 bonus weapon, the remaining costumes from Original RE4 (like Ada’s “Assignment Ada” uniform and Ashley’s pop-star outfit), and maybe an option to make the Original RE4’s incendiary grenades available in RE4 Remake’s campaign (either from the merchant and/or as random pickups).

I already bought the Deluxe Edition with all the costumes, accessories and bought separate ways. The only thing i wish they added was Leon's RPD costume for the gold edition.

If I recall correctly, Leon’s RPD costume was added to the game for free as an extra unlockable, when the Separate Ways DLC and Free Mercenaries updates were released.

I already got S+ with some characters and it will take be a some to get the costume.

@@Shawn-ge9tx yeah asia is getting gold edition too. i checked it out. i bought ps4 and ps5 versions. from the uk. u can import. papi ain.t a complete loss. this time around capcom fixed it got rid of the pop in popout texture issues that day one release got. me gettin it again is worth it.

Based on a report from IGN, only Europe is getting a physical release of the Gold Edition for now. So everywhere else, it looks like Capcom is still resorting to that marketing tactic, where the Gold Edition is just a regular disk with a packaged download code which can only be used once.

I think we all saw it coming that gold edition was basically just going to be Leon's campaign in Ada's campaign put together as a package deal along with all the DLC stuff and I'm pretty sure this is also going to lead with the whole entire DLC package of everything being on unlockable even the cat ears so I wouldn't be surprised at that it would have been cool we did get something like an actual operation Xavier but sadly you know we didn't even though I feel like that would have played a crucial part to the storyline of Leon's pass and on top of that maybe giving us a hint if they really are going to remake code Veronica but hey all we can do is just let Capcom know going forward that that's the remake we want the most versus five instead because I feel that five is just one of those games it's not time yet

Unfortunately, it may not happen but I can hope. I dont need Assignment Ada since Separated Way is already that. Its a short mini-game to me in the OG and thats it.

Remember that RE3 was made before the ps5 was released so the there's differences in graphics even though RE4 has a ps4 version too but since 4 was practically resident evils biggest hit it only stands to reason that more effort would be put into it but i still like playing re3 regardless hopefully there will be a better success with future remakes hopefully code veronica in the future

The game is usually 10 to 15 off in Steam, a few weeks ago was with 20 off. Separate Ways is 10 USD. This "Gold" edition will be release at a minimum price of 70 USD, not physical copy. Why the fuck would you release a "Gold" edition without physical copies and when the game is only one year old!?
