Watched all these in theater, and each one has a specific scene that sticks in my head. This one was Milla running down the side of the building. It looked so epic on the big screen!

Professor in the wheelchair is played by the talented Jared Harris (OG dumbledore’s son) who you may know as moriarty from Sherlock Holmes with rdj or more recently, as valery legasov from hbo’s Chernobyl miniseries!

I think it's worth mentioning, and my memory is a bit hazy so forgive me, that Milla wanted to do as many of her own stunts as they would let her do. Also, iirc, she was maybe pregnant during some of it too? The giant run down the wall was her! She couldn't do all of it, but she did do a significant portion!

OK I’ll explain the graveyard scene coz it really is lore based. So cuz the virus hit people at different times, many died almost the minute they drank water that had the zombie virus in the game cuz it was in the dunking supply ala birkins. And so with the dead bodies stock piling morgues they just started to make shallow graves and buried them en mass. So with them coming back hours to days later they just get up from the ground with still most motor functions. In the movie, the virus is spread cuz of random attacks that spread rapidly in the city and they did the same thing, too many bodies so they put them in shallow graves. This has to be weeks later cuz lickers are the 3rd evolution of a regular zombie. The second is the chrimsonhead zombies.

I think R.E. Afterlife (the fourth one) is the best and have an amazing soundtrack

Fun Fact: One alternate ending was written to have Dr. Cain still be alive. In this ending, he would activate Program Alice but as he monitored her he noticed that she was approaching his lemo revealing that she found him. She enters the lemo and from outside you would see lighting and blood pouring out of the lemo.

The dude in the wheelchair (Jared Harris) was also in Chernobyl. Also, the guy at the end who said "Let them go.", (Iain Glen) was Jorah Mormont in Game of Thrones.

Theres actually some in-game lore about how the zombies work different depending on if they were infected before or after death. The ones that were infected after are slower and don't have any mutations. As for how they were infected underground... presumably, it got into the soil. It happens a few times in the games as well.

Oh just you wait, the movies get wilder, more chaotic and campy as they go lol the 3rd one, which is my favorite (can't wait for your reaction to it), is the most different of them all I think, a bit more gritty and more like a post-apocalyptic film but still batshit and doing a great job of setting up for how wildly insane the last three films end up being. I love all 6 of the movies though, they're not perfect and some are harmed by the studio pushing for them to be made faster so we get some bad CGI here and there, the 4th one being the most criminal of them all (thanks for that, 3D fad), but they're all so stupid and ridiculous you gotta love them regardless.

You are not prepared for the Resident Evil Movie Saga 😂👍🏼🧟‍♂️. It's wild 😂! A lot of action against zombies and other creatures. This movie give the direction for the other movies with the action and story. And mostly, the saga create is own universe of R.E, to not following up the video games. Even if the movies have hate, I love them for what they are.

I just think it's funny.... that the first time she ever woke up with memory loss in her entire life she was naked, wet (in a shower), on the ground and the first thing she tried was using a pen. Then now after this placenta nonsense she wakes up, is wet, naked, hits the floor and first thing she is offered is a pen to scribble with. That doctor unwittingly unlocked the exact memory, the memory of her waking up the first time, that could unlock all the other memories related to umbrella. I was absolutely thrilled to see Jill Valentine in this one!!!! She's one of the top best characters in the video game franchise!!!!! And of course, they've added NEMESIS as well!!!!🤯

So there's alot that Paul Anderson (the director) did straight as fan service (The street battle where RPD got overrun was straight out of RE3 intro) but the movies go on a differant path slightly than the games. In the game, Umbrella was always a biological weapon developer from the start. There are ALOT of different strains of viruses they developed. The T-virus as designed from the Progenitor Virus derived from a flower from Africa then mixed with a strain of Ebola designed to create the "ultimate" race of superhumans as was always the goal of one of the Umbrella Corps. founders, Ozwell Spencer (the guy who actually owned the Mansion from the first game which was designed to be a secret laboratory for testing and look like a normal mansion) who was obsessed with the idea of Eugenics. The virus escaped from the mansion but the big culprit was an incident that lead to the Raccoon City water supply to become infected with the T-virus and within 24 hours the entire city was either infected or already dead and risen so much so that even the US Government who had originally dispatched National Guard, pulled out within the day and decided to nuke the city. Sadly, in this rendition of Resident Evil (the movies) the characters from the game are kinda minor characters that don't portray thier game counterparts all that well yet yes, Jill is wearing exactly what she is from RE3. Honestly you guys should watch "Welcome to Raccoon City" Thats slightly closer to some of the events that actually happened in game with some creative differances and they did well to try and portray the time period well (Resident evil 1,2 and 3 take place in 1998)

I still have the CD Soundtrack for this movie! I got it before my brother and I went to see it! Sooo many awesome songs and remixes! Also, this franchise' "teaser trailers" with the ads for skincare and Las Vegas are freaking top notch! Smart marketing. The Purge: Election Year did the same thing with the "I PURGED" t.v spot
