I am a nurse with copd, she is an excellent teacher. She presents with such calm it calms me as I do the workout with her. Been at it 4 days, already feel a bit better. Hope she does more, she is a good soul. If there are angels they have to be nurses.

I have used these exercises for two years. First six months twice daily, then did fifteen each every other day since then. I also added body and limb exercise to my regime. I find I have more energy and not tired after the exercises. Thank you very much for you help. I should tell you I have eighty seven years behind me . doing these slowly comfortably and all your lungs sinus ear problems throat will all go away in one month... not all have the mindset to do it .. she is good teacher and slow enough to understand all around the world

Many n. and I have cured sinus asthma bronchitis and related issues completely for some who had the most suitable mindset patience trust skill perseverance etc Cured not by this video message alone but by Dietary & life changes, Herbs and Exercises Every day meticulously followed practised for 3 months. But needs very hard work. Modern medicine is fast temporary soothing . but always life long temporary measures bandages as protocols.

(Written summary for self) For all exercises, inhale through nose and exhale through pursed lips. Twice a day for 2 weeks. 1. Stand and stretch arms over head, 10 reps 2. Sit and stretch arms forward and as far back as possible, 10 reps 3. Sniffles, 15 secs (eventually 1min) 4. Elbow circles, move elbows up and down in circular motion, 10reps 5. Shoulder shrug, roll shoulders up and down, 10 reps clockwise + 10 reps counter clockwise 6. Chest fly / Chicken wings, bring elbows front and back, 10 reps 7. Stirring the pot, 10 reps clockwise + 10 reps counter clockwise

Thank you for these breathing exercises. I shall try them. What I am doing now - 1. Sit on the edge of the bed holding a small weight (up) in each hand (5 pounds) 2. Stand, pushing the hand weights up, and inhaling through nose 3. Sit back down, blowing the air out of the mouth quite forcefully, and let weights down to shoulder height (starting position). 4. Repeat for one minute of exercise 1. Sit on the edge of the bed, holding hand weights (15 pounds) straight down next to bed. 2. Stand, pulling the hand weights up toward the armpits, inhaling through nose. 3. Sit back down, blowing the air out of the mouth quite forcefully, and let weights back down next to bed. 4. Repeat for one minute of exercise. These breathing exercises will also stimulate the brain pituitary gland to release growth hormone for youth and muscle mass. (Burst Exercise). Do once per hour.

thank you very very much.. I am surviving pleural effusion which caused breath shortness and back & chest pain while taking a deep breath. I train to strengthen and expand my lungs by doing this exercise, and today is the 2nd day I am doing this exercise (I did it in the morning right after waking up and drink a glass of mineral water) and I feel much better. I can take a deeper breath like the air is filling my lungs :') hope I can be consistently doing these exercises. thank you very much.. you help me a lot.

I love the sniffles really helps! They all help so much but I love this one as I do it everywhere! It encourages you to take a really deep relaxing breath afterwards. Guess it's why you feel more relaxed after a good sob!!!

@@lollypop2414 The exercises are just the same. I only picked up two exercises from this video: Chicken wings and Stirring the pot. I like Donna because she combines breathing exercises with the strengthening of the muscles. I am sure it is the most effective way. Good luck.

GUYS if you have shortness of breath and weak abs... i had the same problem all week end, what happened was my abdomen sunk downward inside my torso, meaning my diaphram couldnt breathe for me. What I had to do was physically massage the muscles as i tensed them back into position, massaging each head where it should be (as best i could tell) starting with the upper two ( BUT PLEASE start with tensing back and pelvic floor before bringing abs back up) two days ago i was nearly having panic attacks now i have reclaimed my abs and my breath.. hope this helps someone

Thanks for shariqng. In chest fly exercise you inhale as you bring the elbows near and excel while talking them back. But in all the other you did exact the opposite. So which way is right. Normally while expanding the intake is done.

The way you breathe is the natural, normal way. The advice of "in through the nose-out through the mouth" is helpful with exercise. Exhaling through pursed lips, slowly, helps air continue to get to the deepest part of the lungs even though you've already started to exhale-it helps to keep a negative pressure state to aid with pushing the air into the deep parts fo the lungs.
