Saying “comer” when coming out of the kitchen a d going around a corner while carrying a tray… to this day, sometimes I think “corner” when I go around a blind spot. Funny really.

One of the Reasons WHY I don't like to dine out is because the waiters and waitresses use the TERM YOUZ GUYS when greeting diners, instead of the more proper terms like Sir, Miss, Madam, or Mesdames & Messieurs.

I see your point but remember server and guest relationship... As weird as this may sound some guest hate been called sir or madam they prefer being called by name. And again it depends on server and guest relationship. But if it's first time in a restaurant sir or madam will be the way to go.

I agree.However, “You guys” is used to address multiple people. The nouns you listed only addresses one person. If it’s a group of women,I feel it’s okay to say “Are you ladies…”, but I’m not sure how to address a group of men or both genders. Although not very formal, “You guys” is the best I know.

@@angelosagie6821"You guys" is to be used at a Chile's/Applebee's type restaurant... & not at a Michelin star restaurant.

The waiter must aprouch and present menu to the costumer from right hand side, and serve the donne plate dish from right hand side too , i see alot mistakes from this waiters trainig, mabe I am from old school style. ALSO I NEVER SAW NOBODY TAKE LAVANDER TO THE TABLE, Niether RUSSIAN SERVICE OR DIPLOMAT SERVICE ( 3 ) 1- direct service, (2 )indirect service
