We continue to develop the territory. We are making a vegetable garden in the backyard near the forest. Since the land here has never been cultivated, it is heavily overgrown with weeds and wheatgrass. In order to make a vegetable garden, we have a lot of work to do.
I also collected all the scrap metal that was in the yard to hand it over, thereby the yard will become cleaner and perhaps we will earn at least some amount of money.

Hello Alexander and Olesya. What a beautiful day to be working on your Forest house and land. There seems to be a growing trend / desire / need for our generation after us, to live off the land, live off the grid or maybe a just have a home in a relative rural area, where they can have a garden and raise some chickens. I think that's awesome. I wish we could. The labor that you both put into your garden, your home and the forest home and garden must be so rewarding. The best kind of work, as far as I am concerned. When we are in nature; whether working, resting, taking a walk...I believe we experience a closeness to our Creator. Our spirits are lifted. We feel a smile spreading on our face. The breeze blowing over us so gently, reminds me that God is with us. Alexander, you and Olesya are such an inspiration to this grandma. Thank you for sharing a part of your life with us. ❤

The plans for the house are lovely. And with a porch it will be so much more welcoming. In America, porches aren’t so popular nowdays. Hi! New viewer here. Have you heard of "No Dig Gardening"? You lay cardboard over the weeds where you want to grow your crops. Then you put some compost on top of the cardboard. You plant your garden when the cardboard has disintegrated and the weeds will be smothered. Charles Dowding has books and videos on it from Britain. I'm not sure about CC for his youtube channel but maybe just watching would help you learn the method. It makes it so much easier and you can save your muscles for other chores. Keep Going! Well Done! You'll be relaxing in your new home before you know it! 🫖🔥☃
