Never hammer end cover plates made of cast iron , they are weak for shocks. Patience is the only solution . working on such restorations are always wonderful and self satisfactory. good job , keep it up.

Menurut saya melepas atau memasang baut lebih baik menggunakan kunci ring daripada pakai perkakas kunci pas, karena bisa menyebabkan baut itu cepat rusak. Tapi saya suka dengan video restorasinya

O rolamento sem ponto de lubrificação precisa ser blindado. Deveriam ter sido trocados Mas de qualquer maneira muito bom trabalho. Parabéns 👍🏼

19:26 YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO SOLDER. This is snotting, not soldering. The wires need to be scraped of dirt and copper oxide before soldering, and you need to use Rosin to solder. Not bad guys. By the looks ( and sounds ) of it you reused the original bearings. For what they cost should have fitted new ones.. I could hear that they were a little worn when you turned the rotor by hand.. Also instead of just twisting the wires together, I'd have also soldered them or used connector block .. However I liked the way you handled the arc welding and the making of the new end air vent.. Very entertaining video. Well done.

Good work..but the vibration causes the structure to collapse..you have to put a tire bearing wheel..underneath and raise it from the ground will reduce the vibration

А в чем заключалась собственное реставрация? В том чтобы смазать и поставить назад старые подшипники? Или в том чтобы запаять разрыв провода на якоре, хотя по хорошему его нужно было заново перемотать полностью. Или в черной изоленте?

Hear them clapped out beaten up secondhand bearings when he spins it after the paint job rebuild. He never took the field coils out and replaced then or put new lacked them same with rota coils they looked cooked and dried out. He never even did a ohms test on them just paint it and nail together glad it’s not my generator it will fail in no time.

I wouldn't imagine it'll last long, after you hit the windings inside with that screwdriver at least twice whilst getting the straw out. Didn't see you do anything to the inside of the housing/windings, so it'll most likely short out before long.

Quit meaningfull that this generator from 2005 (see plate at 5:10) looks this bad after only 17 years. Nice job though guys!
