Imagine in the west I scrap perfectly fine motors. No one fixes broken ones under say 50hp. Heck a lot of 50hp - 100hp motors get scrapped, perfectly working. I only seen someone fixing a motor in India.

great work, super impressive. I am learning through KZfaq to rewire a motor. What I don't see yet is if, every time you wind those 4 loops together in that spindle-like machine, whether they are all connected. In other words, you finish one loop, take the same wire over to the next row and start winding with that same wire. Which is to say: 4 loops, but only 1 wire ? or is it really 4 loops and 4 separate wires on that spindle-like machine. I suspect the former, but I can't see it yet. I shall try, and see if it works. Thanks.

good job without measurements and directly connected without any protection. Why you didnt exchange the bearings and measure the caps. Some improvements are nec.

There is an error in Copper wires because the engine is weak in rotation or because of the insulating fluid that you put in. However, well done from Algeria🇩🇿

My god. That's impressive! You, my friend, are a highly-skilled restorer. And to think, all I do is scrap these things when they go bad. Good for you for having the time and skills to do these things! By the way, I noticed that your electrical outlets are different from North America's. Is this one European? Or somewhere else? The challenge will be what sequence to connect the sets of coils. Would it be opposites or side by side to result in the four/six available wires.

generally just copy the original. Actual specs are hard to find, but measuring and matching is a lot easier

Very nice job. If you changed the stator winding, you could have made a three-phase motor. This motor was three-phase and someone converted it to single-phase by adding two starting capacitors. After this change, the engine has less power and will tire when loaded with a compressor

basically its still 3phase motor, just connected to capacitors. He still can use it as 3phase If connected straight to 400 V, but maybe he wanted it to be 1 phase via capacitors as its easier to connect it to standard 230 V? But you are right, like that motor has less power
