Working with difficult emotions, experiences, and situations.
WORKING WITH ANXIETY, BURN OUT, DEPRESSION, SEXUAL REPRESSION, ADDICTION, REJECTION AND ABANDONMENT
Within sessions we can work towards understanding the subconscious root cause of your anxiety, panic, dissociation or trauma responses. From there we can move towards learning how to control natural impulses, and habits they may bring up in relationship to your self and others.
We also create a framework with working towards becoming more resilient and navigating your way through life's obstacles and upsets.
What is trauma? Trauma is defined as a particular nervous system response to an overwhelming event; trauma is not the event itself. (Note - the same event might cause a post trauma syndrome such as post traumatic stress disorder [PTSD] in one person, and not in another.) When we are involved in a traumatic event, a huge amount of energy is made available in our bodies so that we can deal with that event. But often we become overwhelmed - shocked - and the energy that should be there to help us becomes frozen and stuck.
Trapped trauma energy can result in
Over-alert and easily startled - feeling ‘on-guard’
Reacting irritably to trivial things, restlessness
Exaggerated emotional reactions, and extreme mood-swings
Panic attacks
Flashbacks and nightmares
Numbness and lack of feeling
Feeling ‘frozen’, disconnected or ‘spaced-out’ (dissociated)
Unexplained medical disorders
Muscle tightness and pain
Headaches
Chronic fatigue
Psychosomatic illnesses
Fibromyalgia, asthma
Skin problems
Digestive problems
Breathing disorders
Nightmares
Inability to think clearly
Memory loss
Porn, sex, or love addiction
Deception of trust through lying, cheating, betrayal
So, the first step......is to feel. And to have needs met around safety in order to be given space to feel. These sessions are a space of felt expression. From this place we give the body space to speak. Each session is a unique constellation of parts work within one individual at play with themselves. Imagine the family of expression, experience, and emotion that resides within you. These sessions give all parts of you a place to be seen, acknowledged, heard and understood. From the mind, to the body, to the heart.....we become bridges of connection to our richest inner worlds.
This is a journey designed to create space for integrated healing, where integrative mental health work can help us to look inwards and lead us on a path towards holistic living in honor of our highest self.

A few years back I was in a car accident and ever since I suffer from regularly pinched nerves in my neck which can feel debilitating. I've been doing yoga for quite a while to prevent my neck from flaring up so often, but I've never done nerve flossing. I am on my 5th day of dealing with a current pinched nerve again and after this practice, I felt so much relief I couldn't stop laughing. I genuinely felt so happy I could cry after doing this video! Thank you so incredibly much for posting this practice, it truly is a blessing that I came across it! I'll be saving this video and doing it regularly!

I was in one too, and have had a neck issue since then. Only that I'm just now discovering that it's most likely a nerve issue. Causing headaches every day and blurry vision sometimes, and other things. Hope I figure out what's wrong soon and fix it! Hope you are doing well.

Wow, I wish I'd found this video sooner! After 11 years of on and off chronic neck pain and a recent shingles attack had me searching for nerve relief yoga - I can't believe I've never heard of flossing before. My husband recently had shingles and it was terrible. Try looking up the benefits of olive leaf extract to neutralize the virus in your system and prevent future attacks. Plus obviously doing stress relieving activities like yin yoga and meditation will help.

This has been a game changer for me! I had a “stress” bump at the top of my spine where it meets my neck. It’s almost gone after a week of nerve flossing using this video. My posture is better and my migraines non existent and my vertigo less severe. I feel like after years of no blood flow through my neck, it’s finally back! I overdid it this first few times and experienced strange burning in my shoulder blade and hands. Go slow. Thanks so much for this wonderful information and video. I’ve shared it with everyone I know!

I have a bump (a large fatty lump) on the right side of the spine just below the base of the neck, where the shoulders come together since 2015. Everything around that area is locked tight. Until a year ago I was hardly able to move my head to the side. After reading your comment I will surely try this.

I am a college student and I just want to tell you thank you for doing this video!! I have not been able to focus on my studies for months. I have had to sit and sleep in ice for months. I have chronic injuries related to my shoulders and despite significant physical therapy they did not significantly improve. I have done this video literally over a hundred times over the last couple years and it has been the most helpful things I have tried. I'm almost pain free now. Thank you!

Oh my goodness!!!! I’m so glad I stumbled on this video!! I’ve had a migraine going on for a week, missing work and being unavailable to my family. I’ve been to chiro, prescribed meds, tried other headache yoga videos, but nothing seemed to help. I just tried this routine, and I feel the pain starting to lift! Amazing! Thank you!!!!

I just need to share what a blessing this video has been in my life. I tend to carry stress in my shoulders and sit often throughout the day for work. I also have ongoing severe muscle tightness post radiation for breast cancer and this video is the only thing I’ve found thus far that helps relieve those tight areas that typical stretches can’t relieve. Thank you so very much for putting videos like this out for the world. It’s been such a blessing to me and I’ve incorporated these techniques into my ongoing routine. I have also shared to others as well! ❤🙏🏼

OMG. I just searched yoga for nerve damage because I think that might be my problem, auto accident last year and Ive been very tight on my neck, blurry vision, and pulls all over my body, and more. Almost skipped this video because I thought I needed to try something with more movement..wrong .I was feeling a lot of stretching to my fingers and felt light headed. I NEED yoga to keep my neck pain at bay... if I stop doing it it comes back after a week or two. I haven’t been able to do my typical power yoga that keeps my body pain free bc I have an injury so this REALLY helped me after a few days! Literally couldn’t sleep one night and that’s when I found you! Fell asleep right after bc it instantly helped reduce the pain. This AM woke up hurting too and it literally feels 80% better now. I’m sure I’ll have to keep doing this until I can workout again but THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! So Inspiring too bc I want to make videos to help ppl 😀

I have experienced an intense and constant muscle knot in my right shoulder my entire life, and had no idea the negative effects it had on my mood! I am completely blown away. Your channel is so underrated! This exercise relieved more neck tension than I’ve gotten after a physical therapy session! Not only that, but my soul felt as if it were vibrating by the time I finished. I also experienced intense pressure between my brows by around the 5 minute mark, I wonder how this connects to different energy centers and what it affects? I'm going to try a couple of these tomorrow morning. I have problems in my neck that debilitate me and incapacitate me in a profound way. I don't want to even consider doing a full ten minutes, or I will be bed-ridden. I hope if I do a few seconds of this everyday I might some day recover...

Thank You for sharing , my husband and I did it , he is suffering right now from some sort of neuropathy , his family Dr send him to a neurologist and we found your excersice while he waits his appointment so he can found some relief , he is having some neck and upper body nerve pain , we will continue to do it every day he said he felt some relief , Thank you so much again sending you blessings and light for sharing your knowledge to the world!!

Absolutely amazing. Suffering from really bad neck pain brought on by whiplash from 2 rear end collisions. This is the first at home exercise that has left me with immediate relief. Had to push through but totally worth it! Thank you!!

Loving this video! I have used it everyday for 2 weeks. I am an artist and art instructor, so because of my body positions each day, I have neck/ shoulder tension almost daily. I have been rotating this and a few other nerve flossing videos for shoulder and neck pain. they all help tremendously but this one is also super calming for my nervous system (which is extra whacked out from long covid right now). I appreciate your energy and thank you for sharing!

I have extreme tension and tingling fingers and recently have been doing many nerve flossing routines, and this one is the best.. the twisting of the jar one really seems to hit the spot, and I've not seen that one before on my youtube travels! Thank you! 🙏

This is perfect. I got myself into some trouble laying on my front, propped up with pillows to be online with my laptop on the floor in front of me every night. The upper back of neck became quite hmm... stressed/maybe swollen/maybe numb..... then I was suddenly experiencing heart palpitation, sore pangs, numbish forearm, light headed, ashen pale face on one occasion.... before panicking I got online to learn, that neck position is called neck extension and can become a problem as it can compress arteries and nerves at the back of the neck. Cardio-vascular like attacks can be caused by 'cervical instability' which I don't have but cervical instability brings too much stress to the upper cervical nerves and arteries which I seemingly did have. Goodness. Any how, a day and two of rest, avoiding that position and now this lovely nerve flossing session are all helping my 'stressed' neck and the rather frightening symptoms seem to have gone. (don't be concerned I will keep a close watch on my situation, just in case I'm wrong.... but I believe I've figured this one out) Appreciate this and you, Echo.

I surely am moving with caution. 12 days in and I find my neck muscles as they meet the base of the skull to be quite tense and sore, so am massaging.... and again I find myself with this wonderful session. @13:18 you suggest practising but not so much as to irritate the neural lines which may already be irritated, to this I nod my head knowingly.... 💚
