Restore Outdoor Teak Table - NO SANDING | Cleaning & Oiling

We restore this old weathered timber teak table with absolutely no sanding! Using the premium Woca range of products to bring this table back to life. First we apply the exterior wood cleaner and then scrub, showing various scrubbing brushes and techniques. We then leave the table to dry for 24 hours. Included in this video is a small repair to a damaged section on the table. Before starting the oiling process we buff the table using the green utility pad. Oil then gets applied with an applicator pad and paint brush. After drying for 24 hours, we apply the second coat. Leave to dry another 24 hours. Final step is to lightly buff the table using the white polishing pad.
All that's left to do now is light a fire, grab a beer and enjoy the table!

I was all in, right up until you brought out the floor scrubber, which we all have of course. 💂‍♂️🇬🇧

You definitely don’t have to use the floor scrubber, you can continue with the hard bristle brush. It just speeds up the process a bit and used it because as a floor sander I had one in the van ;)

Lovely job but when ye said ( No sanding ) I kind of thought it would be power hosing. The amount of scrubing you done ye might as well have been sanding.

Thanks mate. Power hosing will damage the timber unfortunately, the way we did it (even though still hard work) is much gentler on the timber.

Great job… Would this same process be used for a wood deck… while I know it depends on the paint or stain that’s on top of it

Thanks mate! Exactly right! Same process is used on decks, unless there is a paint or varnish on top - then you will need to sand back first. Stay tuned for a deck video coming in the next few weeks!
