The tropic strap looks good too... BUT, original came on waffle so it's a shame they didn't supply on one of those.

Thanks man, tryinf different things but I still wna keep recording through my phone and keep it amateur and more watch enthusiast vibe rather than the top professionally edited channels. If you go mainstream and commercial you lose that core enthusiasm and honesty and start doing it for the commercial aspect

Yes you're right, the lume is more than adequate, yes i did read it had C1 lume, but wasn't sure on them being grades

Do they take custom orders ? Because I don’t like the inner gold rehaut (chapter ring ) would like it better with silver rehaut.

You'd have to ask WR watches about a custom order. I pressed for the silver crown because they had a pic posted on their own website of one. In the first reply, I was told it was only available with a gold crown. Then I received a second email where they apologized, told me to disregard the first email, and stated they could accommodate my request.

I wonder if they can do one with no blue AR coating. None of these look black. The draw of Seiko is how beautiful and mesmerizing the black of their dials is.

@@Joe-yi8xj There is no noticeable bluish tint to the crystal on mine. The dial looks black. I have noticed it on other brands such as Steeldive's "Williard". I guess it depends on how thickly the AR coating is applied.

I think they do a tuna which looks decent but not anything too different i dont think. Get it in, its a nice watch

If i were to be honest, some of the Merkur stuff I find quite aesthetically un-appealing to put it nicely but I will try and get a piece or two in, people do talk about them

Its more aesthetics, then looks. Not much difference in price between them. The ceramic shine would have made it look plasticy but everyone has their own preference. Thanks and keep watching!

It looks plated to me because it maintained a lustre, it didn't start to dull like bronze

Jokes aside, fair point Jason, they're not for everyone, but just because its swiss made doesn't make it good. Not all Swiss movement's are all that specially for that £150 mark, still a low beat 22 j movement which is the same as the jap movement's but they're more reliable. The ETA movement's are also known for reliability issues and specs on offer on these chinese watches are actually quite good. Also, for a watch to be sold as 'swiss-made' only a certain percentage of parts needs to be made in Switzerland and most of the parts for 'swiss made' watches come from China
