Great video. I love YMAX it’s a good performer in my portfolio. I must admit I’m a little nervous about a bear market downturn. Only time will tell!!

YMAX is probably the best ultra high yield ETF out there, I really like YMAG as well, it's done really good in my portfolio.

Excellent points! I love YMAX also, one of the best that they have come out with. In reference to down markets, i wonder if they will add ETFs like CRSH to it to help on the downside :)

You know i heard will be inverse version on ymax with all ym short option etf in future. It will be perfect hedge. Ymax it also very diversifid banks tech btc gold i want it to be one of my largest holdings

The inevitable downturn won’t hurt YMAX too much. The share price will suffer, but the distribution’s (probably a little lower) will continue. A downturn is catastrophic for growth (traditional investors), but high yield investors have a different experience. Just hold on and DON’T SELL.

Is there a reason why some of yieldmax funds are losing NAV and why some are increasing NAV? is it all about the underlying stock or because paying out too much?

There is no underlying stock. These are synthetic covered calls using options and not long positions in the UL stock. So little downside protection and upside has its limits.

@@I-prefer-income It's all about the UL security. These funds may drop more in a down market, but then they are capped to the upside which means it's hard to make up for losses over time in terms of the NAV. Thus NAV erosion happens.

It’s all on their website but aim is 4-5% pm so historically 50 to 70 cents per share.

All depends how far they put those calls out. When volatility goes up they typically put the calls out further.

Selling calls is the slight downside protection. It’s not a hedge by any means but we don’t go down as much because the underlyings sell weekly calls.

I was laugh when people make these "how much money you would have in 10 years" videos...just shows a clear lack of understanding of the real risks of these funds 😂 also, YMAX is NOT the best Yldmax ETF. MSFO is the best on a risk adjusted basis....actual investors will know I am right.

MSFO is a single stock ETF with no diversification. YMAX is a better option for most investors interested in yield.

@@FA9082 are you so insecure about your opinion that you need to be a troll? I wouldn’t use beta alone as volatility changes. In the long run diversification makes better sense. The risk with a single stock etf is that anything could happen. Microsoft could decide to relaunch Zune, back out of their relationship with OpenAI or Nadella could be run over by the corporate jet. All of these and countless others could negatively impact their share price and volatility. Multiple stock etfs reduce that fundamental risk.
