The Church leaders should be held criminally responsible along with the pedophiles. If they would have done the right thing and kicked out the abusers and reported them, a lot of kids wouldn't have been abused.

The church cares more about its reputation than about the safety of othets. Even referring to thousands of children's lives being ruined as "the shame of the church" is so telling

this goes to show that just because one is holy, it doesn't prove their innocence. and there is no excuse for this as this was all recent, only having been at least 20-30 years ago.

Pedo abusers are disgusting & depraved. Suffer the little children indeed… RIP All SA victims who have taken their lives and/or are still suffering wrecked lives due to this horrific abuse. May the abusers be jailed .

First time I went to a Catholic Church after being baptized at a non denom Christian church it just felt wrong. My fiancé is a catholic and I’m a Christian and he says there the same thing I’m like hell no. Quite literally.
