Can you make a video of tightening / putting lock tight on every screw and bolt and say what they are for? I constantly have issues with my stem and this was a big help

Tip to help prevent pinch flats...next time you accerss the tubes coat them in baby powder/talc. Cyclists do this as it allows the tube to freely move about as opposed to sticking inside the tire. This reduces stress and pinch flats.

Glad your Mantis is up and running again. I put the 3 inch wide road tires on mine along with the included tubes. These tires are much thicker and provide a lot more protection against pinch flats. These have a better feel and traction at speed. Tube and tire failures are going to be the same on comparable scooters. Checking for loose bolts and screws will also be a very regular maintenance chore regardless of scooter brand. Riding on rough terrain will require shortening these maintenance intervals. Good luck and ride carefully.

Good to see. My dual motor Pro has been goign well, and I hammer it (at 500km so far). No wobble like you experienced but I will add it to a bigger mechanical check-over I plan to do soon. I have thread locked a few external bolts and zero flats so far (fingers crossed there)

Im dissapointed with your experience with Fluid freeride...i got my Kaabo Mantis pro from Aliexpress (I live in Finland so ordering from FFR and paying taxes etc wasnt an option) it has none of The issues Even The kickstand seems to stay on, so it seems that Kaabo has improved their Quality control

I saw the back hub wobble issue in your last video and this one. It looks like it's the bearings. You can actually see it more clearly in your last one. It's really worth replacing them. The ones from the factory are okay, but won't take much to damage them if you do jumps etc. You may have been unlucky and got faulty ones from the factory.

Great video and I'm so glad that you managed to get you Mantis back on the road. I've had enough of my Mantis 8. The back tyre bulged at less than 60 miles, which apparently isn't covered by the Kaabo UK warranty, and to add insult to injury the replacement tyres are £42 each (USD55). Have decided to replace the damaged tyre and sell the scooter. I intend to put the money into a second EUC instead of getting another scooter. Unfortunately, Kaabo has really put me off scooters and until the manufacturers get their collective acts together, I would rather spend my money on EUCs.

So I totally stayed away from the Mantis Pro based on your previous video. I went with the Dualtron Eagle Pro instead which I’m quite happy with. Now that you feel a little more secure with your repairs on the Mantis, would you now recommend it or do you think the company still has more quality assurance work to do? What are your thoughts on the Apollo Pro Ludicrous, Turbowheel Phaeton, zero-11x, and possibly the Amazon Outstorm 35AH, compared to the Wolf Warrior 11+? Mainly in regards to extreme offroading. I'm not concerned with on-road ride quality, top speed, or range so much as I am concerned with low-end Torque and ruggedness. I go offroading in my Jeep just about every weekend and I want a portable eScooter to quickly scout Jeep trails ahead. I weigh 235'ish and want the BEST scooter for 45° hills and rugged enough to survive wet rocky trails. I find eScooters to be ideal because they are smaller and lighter than dirt bikes, which is critical for hauling in my little Jeep.

Just a thought you ride the mantis on pretty rough terrain like rocky dirt path so that might be why the screws came loose because the mantis is a road scooter from what I know. Nice video though

Where did you get the tire repair kit from? And plus did you use slime in your wheels?

I had a wipeout on a Mantis Pro 10 last Friday at about 30 mph after hitting something on a paved trail. Bad road rash on my knees, elbow, shoulder and ankle. I'm glad I was wearing helmet and gloves so my hands are fine. Please, wear gloves -- road rash on the hands would be a massive inconvenience.

Wow, in the Engineering World we call that destructive testing. We take an item push , it way beyond its intended limits , and see where it yields .Then we improve the bits that failed , just like those you have found necessary . Why didn't you tighten the front end when the wobble first appeared ? I'm not surprised things fail for you when I see you zoom across a stock crossing (see 4:31mins) , sheeeeeesh !! I'd be really impressed with any scooter if it could tolerate what you trow at it , with the small amount of repair work you've had to do. Based solely on what I've seen you do to one of these Kaabo's , in your numerous vids , I've pulled the pin on a on the Mantis . Mine arrives a about a week . To me it's a tough little beast that can handle virtually anything, even 500 miles of hell riding . The way you ride ,,,,,,,,,,,,, I'm not even gonna start about that ,,,,, have you ever seen a de-gloved hand ,, I mean when the skin is removed like a silk glove ,, please use some protective gear. All in all , fantastic vids , thanks ,,convinced me to get a Kaabo. Toughest lil beast out there ! Cheers Supaflee

I have a opportunity to get a free mantis (which I’m not passing up) the owner say he doesn’t know what’s wrong with it ,other then it just stopped working! Any suggestions on what to look for or other reasons on why it would just stop? Picking it up today or tomorrow

manufacturers should not put locktite on it you're duty to check your own vehicle periodic a simple walk around is all it take.

im looking the part where you are driving, your camera is mounted on your helmet right so it will follow your eye sight? However on almost all of the crossroads when you are passing you are not looking to the left or right while passing with great speed. The brakes on my mantis pro are EXTREMELY sensitive - any ideas how to fix so when I slowly begin to apply the brakes it doesn't feel like I'm about to go flying off the handle bars?.

base on your reviews i am buying a mantis. the way you abuse it and the problems are minor. 500 miles and never really check for loose nuts and bolts. you should do more maintenace.

Remember most all scooters are made in China the material quality is poor but the engineering is well. I purchased zero 10x haven't had issues yet but I expect to because tire quality is poor, disc break are thin and overall metal is of poor quality. But they sure are fun

Well dualtron have same issues. Bolts loosing up Crazy. This is very dangerous from all manufacturers. A common thing and it does not matter What you buy and for how much those are all very suprising low Quality

They sell you a scooter & when it doesn't work, they will not refund your money, they will not give you another unit, they will barely even talk to you. NEVER buy any Kaabo products, there is ZERO support. It's like playing Russian roulette with your hard earned money. Terrible company with THE WORST customer service possible!
