*_Episode 25 Commentary_* Many of those more human appearances are because those species possess human ancestry, possess the ability to shapeshift or are Spiritual Lifeforms that have chosen a humanoid appearance. ==== In the Light novel and Manga, the delegation relations meeting between Tempest and Eurazania happens before Rimuru's trip to the Kingdom of Engrassia. In the Anime, the delegation happens after Rimuru's trip to Engrassia but before the official end of his teaching job. ==== The events of episode 25 take place after OAD 3-5. They are canon so you see characters from them. Visions of Coleus OVA also takes place after OAD 5 but you shouldn't watch it until after Season 2 and the movie (which is canon). ==== *Lycanthropes* are a race of Demi-humans that can transform into their respective beasts at will and are generally Ranked B on average. The vast majority of them reside in the Beast Kingdom of Eurazania. This race was created by race by the hybridization of Humans with Magic beasts, enabling them to transform into their respective beasts. The lifespan of lycanthropes is not significantly different from that of humans with some exceptions, except for their extended youth, which lasts from 30 to 50 years. However, as they start to age, their bodies quickly weaken, and they typically succumb within two weeks with some exceptions. The Beastmen, as a race, thrive in battle and eagerly embrace strong adversaries. Additionally, several other Demi-human races, including Orcs, Rabbitfolk, and Kobolds, originated from Lycanthrope tribes that gradually lost the ability to shift completely from a human form to a beast form. On activation the user's injuries are healed and all of their stamina is restored, while also greatly increasing their physical strength. Its use is limited to a short duration, after which the user will suffer a harsh backlash and become extremely exhausted. -Beastialize: An ability similar to the Dragonewt's Dragon Scales, allowing the user to freely alter their appearance to be more humanoid or more beastly at their will. Basically Zoan-fruit users from One Piece. -Self-Regeneration: As long as the user has Magicules and a Material body that hasn't been completely destroyed, they can recover from nearly any injury by spending energy over time. Even things such as missing limbs and organs can be restored; although the brain can only be regenerated if one is capable of remaining conscious without it in the first place, such as a Demi-spiritual life-form.
