Williams got Alex Albon is definitely the most underpaid driver. Lets hope he gets a good bonus for points finishes. Gasly is definitely the driver whos pay raised my eyebrow the most, and is hard to justify. Stroll's pay didn't make me raise my eyebrow, only because I know his dad runs the team. At this point, I find it hard to justify him being in F1, he isn't a bad driver but there have been many who are just as good or better, who have been cut because they are not up to the level.

Seems to me that Williams's problem has always been they do not like to pay their drivers properly, talent costs money, Frank,(may he rest in peace) once said that "it's the team that wins not the driver", well I only see 2 people on the team with thick necks and lead feet.

To me $400-600k mark is surely underpaid unless you totally suck, let's be honest none of these drivers suck, some are just a full grade above or even more, yeah they deserve more surely. But to me personally, I feel that $25-50 mil is really too much paid in general, to do what you love the most in life! Think about it, going not to work but to the hobby you cannot live without and getting paid like that, to top it off in times where the car is so darn safe it's actually hard to kill yourself in it just to round it off. But yes, form $ making business point of view but the huge corp market around the grid, well it makes more sense looking at it from that aspect considering how much $ is involved. With that being said, sure I would not have a problem with drivers making less, a, lot more close to a good salary instead of these numbers . But that the huge numbers come in form of bonuses instead for your input in the car, makes more sense to me. Remember the Schumacher days, the $ he made back when the value of $ was very different is just flat out crazy, today's drivers are not paid good compared to him, his first 1996 contract may not have been the best but after that, crazy. Ohh well, good for them.
