Very atmospheric. Great use of body language. Moving away from the games story and creating your own narrative is a positive move, I hope you continue to push yourself in this direction. Will you continue with these characters or start anew? Good luck with your future projects, David!

Thanks for the feedback! I can safely say I'm done with these characters. I feel their story has been told, so there's no need for me to add anymore. Not sure what my next solo project will be, but I want to move away from Fallout 4 so I can experience creating machinima with other games.

Thanks! Actually, the story is its own unique entity. It has no real connection to the Connie, Blake and the rest of Abernethy Farm.

See, this is the type of Fallout 4 Machinima I was looking for: very reminiscent to the ones I'd see from 3 back in the day; and I really loved the interpretative way of storytelling you did here - I'm very much a fan of that. I know it takes a ton of work, but I'd say keep at it if you can :)

Holy shit this was nice. Story telling went very well, although it occurred to me that being instrumental in nature this reminded me of age old black and white movies.. where dialogue was displayed as text intermissions. Would've been an alternative way to convey the story.

I watched a few other vids here in between - none of them had those text cards, so maybe it would differentiate your art a bit. Hey, if you need a (male) voice actor with european accent and wide vocal range sometime, send me a msg and give me a line you want + some background info and I'll send you a sample. I've worked with my voice a bit as part of my hobbies but I confess I'm a novice when it comes to voice acting.

Thanks! The story however has nothing to do with any story from the Fallout universe. This story takes place in it's own similar universe, separate from the Fallout one.

Hey this was pretty great! Good job :) And I know it was intentionally dark/low lighting but I feel like it might've been just a tad too dark at times to see, even with the brightness on my phone at max in a dark room lol. You're right, it was intentional so that it contrasted with other environments he was comfortable in. It's designed to make you feel somewhat uncertain about what would happen to him. A lot of this film was me experimenting with machinima. I learned a lot, and if I had to re-film this, I would do it completely differently. Thanks for the feedback!

I know. Sorry I wasn't clearer. Your story is your own, but I was drawing a parallel between yours and Blake's. Whereas Blake did nothing after Mary was killed, your protagonist does (he's badass, too!). It makes me think about the situation both Blake and Unnamed Guy found themselves in. At the mercy of raiders.

I've been apart of their production crew for a while now! They taught me almost everything I know about Fallout 4 Machinima! I came out of "retirement" from Machinima to make that episode for them but sadly it will likely be the last piece of Machinima I ever make. P.S I've only just seen this comment. It seems like KZfaq hasn't been sending me notifications for over 2 months...

Watching this whole thing, you can really tell how much work you put into it. But i'm amazed about the shots of the raiders moving in sync to and from the farm, and when they all burn the crops together, how did you manage that?

Thanks man! It took a long time, but I feel it was worth it. For the shot 4:26 - 4:31 is actually all one shot. It's hard to explain exactly how I did it, so I'll try and upload the raw footage to give you an idea.

It's purposefully ambiguous. He became capable of protecting himself and his home. But with the introduction of the settler he's faced with a choice. Either he was being extra cautious and only raised his weapon as a warning or his revenge changed him forever and he killed him to protect himself and his home. Choose whichever one makes more sense to you.
