I always take any 0-60 given by Porker with a grain of salt because he adds a lot of weight. I figure he slows the 0-60 time by a good 40-50%

I'm just going to go on record as saying I love those Recaro seats in my Focus ST. I'm of average build/weight, and they're some of the most comfortable seats I've ever ridden in after being properly broken in.

we recorded a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds in our testing. Developed with input from Ken Block, we judge the RS to be better than the Subaru WRX, WRX STI, and VW Golf R.

You know people... I have an ST and I love it. Sure it's not the best and it's not the fastest, but why are so many people so quick to say hurtful things like," In the end its just a ford" or "You could have gotten this or that instead". We all are obviously car guys and Gals so can't we just respect each others tastes and preferences?

Good to see the US getting the european models. I'm surprised it's taken this long. We've had RS Fords for a long time. I guess they were considered too small for the US market up until now.

I am really concerned with the ride quality, is it only really rough in the sport mode? Is the normal mode good as far as ride quality for a daily driver?

I really thought for a couple months that America had it together and started making good track cars. But it turns out the hellcat drives like a small apartment wheels, the Z06 overheats after 5 laps, and the RS has rear diff cooling problems. So I'll stick with a F-Type and Golf R.

I hate to correct you on the RS's 0-60 time, but a lot of people get the time wrong because when Ford introduced the new RS. they introduced it in Europe. Europe uses the metric system, the U.S. doesn't! A lot of people forget to convert from kilometers to miles! Here's the calculation/formula: 4.7sec./62mph I ?sec,/60mph is = 4.5seconds. Wow! That's way quicker than the Mustang GT

I test drove an ST and it just felt so disconnected from the road. It reminded me of my moms Honda Odyssey. I don't know, I was disappointed. Still want to try the RS, though.

Being made in Germany is a GOOD thing. Golf R is still better in my opinion (better interior, more comfortable, no dealer markup, cheaper) but the RS is a decent car.

I'd argue it isn't an American car at all. The Focus MK3 is specifically a global car from Ford (although was originally designed in Europe) and is identical worldwide and built in Germany.

rs really is best handaling car latly even better then sti crazy how fast u can take turns and its great right out box ford nailed it u really dont have to do anything to it unless u want it lower and tune etc yes can only handle about 400 whp have to build motor to make over that but u dont need that this car is that good

it really is too bad about the car overheating. Looking at the Focus RS Forum, people who track their cars overheat, and it also cooks the tires, meaning you'll have to replace the suspension to achieve more camber.
