Yes you can watch shows and movies for free connecting to the wifi along with free texting without paying any money. Also the first flight was a CRJ 700 not -900 as well as power outlets are available in First Class in the arm rests.

I think you should have tried first class on a larger delta plane traveling a further distance to get the full experience of meals, ect. Have you done that before? That’s a small jet. It’s a different experience on a larger jet as I would imagine you already know.

Hey Josh! You can connect to the WiFi for free to get message connectivity, and entertainment (movies, etc). What you would need to pay for is full Internet access.

First, welcome to the US Josh, hope your time here is enjoyable. Love your videos...As a very frequent Delta flyer, this was kind of fun to see. We business travelers here often call these the flying coffins. Morbid, I know. I fly Connection a lot between my home CMH to DTW or JFK to connect elsewhere and find I try and book the Republic Airways because they fly the Embraer 170 or 175 only. Comfort + is definitely worth the extra money. Very looking forward to their A220s joining their fleet.

Hi Josh - really interesting to see a totally different product - have flown CRJ900 jet with (Lufthansa) Eurowings many times from Manchester to Dusseldorf but they aren't configured for business/premium with different seat pitch etc - still reasonably comfortable on short flights though - although usually problems with people trying to board with "normal" sized hand luggage that won't fit in the smaller than standard over head bins

I flew with the CRJ9 on Lufthansa! It's awesome because you get more the feeling of flying than in a big Jet but I prefer the bigger Jets in regional business due the comfort

Cool video, review. I fly on this plane once a year...always went "cheap"...NEVER AGAIN! Last flight was in the absolute rear of the plane next to the bulkhead/lav. Terrible 3-hour flight. Just booked my next flight on this CRJ into Detroit (seat 1A). So, hopefully it goes well. Wish they would use a 767-300 for this route...

A lot of the people that complain about not having built in entertainment or free wifi on a 2-3 hour flight are the same people that would complain about the increased price if it was included. You do get what you pay for. Nothing is actually free. These are budget aircraft. They obviously do well in the market as they sell very well. If you want entertainment, pay a bit extra and find a flight that does.

Greg They do have free WiFi for messaging and watching movies, in any class. You can download the Gogo app free either before or in flight and watch all of Delta’s movies

Obviously you have not travelled in Europe! BA (full? service airline) to Marrakech is 3h45 with nothing to entertain even in business class with terrible seat pitch too. Oh and WiFi was coming soon......

There is no IFE but the WiFi is free even in Economy and you can use it to download an app and watch the same movies that Delta has on long haul. I started watching a movie on Delta long haul and then finished the rest of it in my connecting CRJ.

If you notice flying in the US is just very very basic as the airline industry is extremely large and serves millions of travelers daily. It is almost like taking the bus but a very very fast bus. Safety and the pilots on the best in the world. Newer airports are nice but many older ones are just basic. No frills as it is really more about getting from point a to point b and that is about it. Nowhere else in the world is it like what it is like in America.

No - having flown on Delta for the past 30 years out of their hub in ATL and abroad - they PALE in comparison to other airlines. I will spend twice as much to NOT fly on a Delta flight again - and this is from someone who was a million miler by age 24.

der Service auf dem drei stunden flug war wohl das primitivste, was ich je gesehen habe. Peinlich bis ins Detail. Diese so genannte erste klasse auf dem ersten Segment einfach nur peinlich. PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!

All American runed airlines are embarrassing when it comes to service. Emirates, Singapore air, Ethiad, Cathay pacific, Lufthansa, air France and British air. Other airlines in Europe the middle East and far East put all American ones to shame. And it does not have to be that way. Come on. Make air travel in the usa great again..
