Glad you are able to receive your pedal when I purchased mine years ago and am still waiting! These people are absolute scammers! I ordered and paid for my unit as a backer on kickstarter back in 2020! Paid for mine before this video was even released! They refuse to send me my pedal unless I pay a good bit more money!! They are holding it hostage! This is how they take care of the people that made the build of this unit possible! The people that helped make it possible for this demonstration video to be made. It makes me sick that I will never get my money back, or at least get the pedal I purchased. I feel extremely taken advantage of by this company.

the question, in the reality, can it beat a helix stomp? like pitch shifter and looper wise?
@EpicGuitarInstruction
@EpicGuitarInstruction 4 ай бұрын
Hi and thank u for watching. The looper is pretty good and it has a player as well and that is really cool as u can load jam tracks and songs into the player and have it right in your chain. Very cool. As far as the Helix stomp I cant really comment as I have not tried the helix as yet. The modulation effects like pitch shifting and chorus and phaser are very good as well and you get choices as there are a lot of plugins that come with the Dwarf - some better than others but overall really good, at least the ones I tried so far. Enjoy and stay tuned - lots more lessons and content coming. I also have another KZfaq channel at ROCK ON GOOD PEOPLE here: kzfaq.info - which is more instructional based and not song based like this channel - be sure and check that one out also - lots of killer lessons and content as I post on both channels. And no pressure but if u want to donate to the channel I now have a Tip Jar link in the YT description box if u would like - but again, no pressure. Keep up all that hard work on that guitar and please subscribe to the channels. Take care, and rock on! -David Taub, Next Level Guitar Inc. & EGI

How seamless is the switching. can you go to a different patch without it dropping out or do you need to set up a board and just turn stuff on and off. Also. How do you find the latency?
@EpicGuitarInstruction
@EpicGuitarInstruction 5 ай бұрын
Overall its an excellent, well thought out unit. IMO there is no issue with latency - or its so small u dont notice - so no worries there. The switching between patches is pretty seemless - I usually set up a board and then turn things on and off within that board using the footswitches. Or I use the scenes within the board. Pretty easy to get going with it and lots of fun with their whole eco system and all available plug ins. Fun unit! And thank u for watching this video - so appreciated. Enjoy and stay tuned - lots more lessons and content coming soon. Hello, sorry for the silly question... I'm still understanding this new technology. So in the Aida X plugin I have several simulations of amps, cabs and fx, right? In this case, are the names of the amplifier models easily identifiable or are they with very different names? And to assemble a preset within Mod Dwarf for example, can I use only one plugin at a time? Like... I can't use an amp simulation from Aida and an fx from another plugging for example... would that be right? Cheers
@EpicGuitarInstruction
@EpicGuitarInstruction Жыл бұрын
Hi Daniel and thank u for watching this video. Yes, you can use the AIDAx or any amp sim plug in on the platform and then add any other plugins - you just build what you want right on the board and add anything from the plug in library - its just like the part in the video where I show a screen shot of the graphic interface - really slick and easy to use - build anything pretty much! Amp mods for most of these types of plugins often have similar names so it is eay to find name. Not the exact name but similar. Let me know if you have any other questions. Its a great pedal - really killer sounds and easy to use. And be sure to take a good look around the channel as we have tons of killer content and lessons - lots of fun stuff. Enjoy and stay tuned - lots more lessons and content coming soon. @@EpicGuitarInstruction Thanks a lot for the tips! I will subscribe and follow both channels to learn more. Including the "snapshot" feature as they say it is similar to the "scenes" process existing in other modellers. This will help a lot. Even with only 3 switches, snapshots greatly improve autonomy! Cheers

Awesome review 😊 wondering can you play piano using the guitar 🎸 with this unit 😊

Hi and thank u so much - really appreciate ur kind words. Yeah, I am really loving this pedal - its quite amazing. One way - You can hook a MIDI keyboard into the pedal as its full MIDI and play keyboards that way. Another way is that I am sure there is probably some plugin to make the guitar sound more like a keyboard - there are so mnay plugins that come with the unit - over 300 and growing. And be sure to take a good look around the channel as we have tons of killer content and lessons - lots of fun stuff. Enjoy and stay tuned - lots more lessons and content coming soon. There is an audio-to-cv module that could be used for guitarsynth purposes (and using some special plugins could be converted to midi as well). It only works one string at a time though, you cannot play chords (then you really need a proper guitar-midi solution).

Is it compatible with 3rd party plugins? If so how to load them up?
@EpicGuitarInstruction
@EpicGuitarInstruction Жыл бұрын
There are many 3rd party plugins already on the platform. Many are free - some are for sale. You just go to the library and see what is available as they have them all listed out - and then you just drag and drop them into your pedalboard - simple! Really cool device. And thank u so much for watching this video - really appreciated. And be sure to take a good look around the channel as we have tons of killer content and lessons - lots of fun stuff. @@EpicGuitarInstructionthanks David! I am in a search for some good but not expensive studio monitors because I'm planning to buy MOD Dwarf and record my playing more in the future. One additional quick question: how do you exactly connect Dwarf with monitors? Which outputs you're using? I know this is a rookie question but didn't play with something like this before, I'm an old school guy😅 I'm already subscribed to your channel, this one, and will also subscribe to the other one you have. You have great content man, keep up the good work.👍 Rock on!🤘

It would be cool when I could connect my midi controller to Dwarf, for switching between various scenes...
@EpicGuitarInstruction
@EpicGuitarInstruction 9 ай бұрын
Hi again - Awesome that u r getting the MOD dwarf - its such a fun unit and sounds really cool. Yeah, the KRK monitors are great - mine are old but still sound great - u can probably score a used pair from your local craiglist or FB marketplace. As far as hooking it all up you will need an interface - this way you plug the guitar into the dwarf and then the dwarf runs into the interface which then goes into your computer. You can run the dwarf stand alone or use in your DAW to record if u like - if you are not familiar with intefaces and the hookups for it all I have two really detailed videos that will help you - check them out here - part 1 here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ms2PdLVyr6vJeHU.html - and part 2 here - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ndJ9jNZina29eHk.html - these videos I packed with info and should answer all your questions - check them out and let me know what u think and if you have any other questions. You can do the hook ups different ways but I run the guitar into the dwarf and then out of the dwarf into the interface and then then interface runs into the computer and the interface outs go to the powered KRK monitors - so I use my interface for the in and out. Really appreciate ur kind words and thanks again for your kind words and support - take care and have a rocking day! -David Taub, Next Level Guitar Inc & EGI

@@EpicGuitarInstructionsorry David for a late reply... I was busy with work last 2 weeks... Thanks for the links you shared, I will definitely watched them and try to replicate the same when I get my hands on my interface (I'm planning to buy it soon, with KRK monitors). Cheers man and thanks once again for your help, highly appreciate it.👍👍 Have a great weekend!
