I've recently stepped into the world of English blends, and OH MY they are GOOD!! Drucour and Son's Kings Fool was my first, and it is amazing!

I like Latakia blends, especially Pease ones, but they usually stay in the tin during the humid Summers we have here in Ky. I’m sure you know what I mean. I like the Va/Pers and ones with Virginia and DFK in the humid season. Also corn cob pipes are great in Summer. Take care

Also I live in a place called the Okanagan in "Supernatural" British Columbia. There's many stories/ legends from the first nations of a water serpent/ creature called "Ogopogo" . It's very similar to the Loch Ness monster.

Always enjoy your videos Kevin. Go buy yourself something nice, haha. This blend sounds like a good one to me. Scottish Blends are always on tap for me, and this one has been on my radar for a while. Rye bread huh? Like a patty melt. We have a local legend here called the Mud-Tracker. Only comes out on the really foggy nights.

Another great video Kevin. Just finishing the last bowl of some original Rum and Maple (No. 53) in my Charles Towne Cobbler Corn Cob. I smoked that tobacco sparingly but alas now it's gone albeit with some great memories of my Dad (it was his go to blend, and this was the last of what remained) the packaging was from around 1970. BTW, the Cobbler is just a great smoking pipe, bigger bowl which I like, and a great bit. I have the bent version but will probably order the straight version next. Al

If I recall correctly, Sillems Black has burley and black cavendish and an aromatic topping , so no I don’t think it would be very similar to that blend. But if you try this one let me know what you think :)

I was in Scotland a couple months ago, and sailed on Loch Ness for a day. Alas, no Nessie sighting! I’d have loved to have had a pinch of this to enjoy.

Ah Yes, A fine english blend. You should try their other blends and most recent addition the Merry Monk. I love the Trafalgar and Blairgowrie blends as well. I really enjoy your videos.

Hey Kevin, like always I enjoyed your review. When I smoked my first bowl of it I smoked it to hot and did not like it. But after going back to it and smoking it really slow I find myself craving it. Hope all is well with you and the family. Take care my brother.

Hello Kevin, great to see you. Steaks look beautiful on the grill there. Moving towards warmer weather and in about two months I should be able to think about grilling out again. Have you done any fishing off your dock there yet? I've been meaning to ask. Sitting down there with a pipe, pole in hand, that would make an excellent video. Have a good one!

I got all geared up to take my son fishing down there just this past week and it started raining on us! We hope to find the time very soon! A neighbor did take us out on his boat for a river ride last weekend. So fun!

I wonder if any of my local Shops carry it. Cross that sounds like a good one that I would like to try. As far as the mythical monsters I believe that the Is lochness monster, the Lake Champlain monster, and bigfoot all exist. Scientifically speaking there is a lot about this planet that we don't know, a lot of places we have not visited. I know for a fact there are huge places in Wyoming that nobody has ever actually been to. So I think these monsters are out there and more and we just haven't found an Explorer and study them yet.

If you like red wines, have you tried any Bordeaux's yet? Its by far my favorite red wine style. Dark berry flavor without being too sweet and also its very dry which i enjoy. Sometimes you can get natural tobacco notes in it as well.

Kevin another great review as usual. Is that pipe dedicated to blends containing Latakia? I guess more specifically do you think it advisable to dedicate a pipe to Latakia blends? I know ghosting can be a problem with some blends and my local b&m seems to think thats worth doing. Cheers

Kevin, I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to watch like usual or comment like usual, work, home, over and over its been a real drag since Christmas. Anyway that blend sounds really good. I myself enjoy balanced blends with latakia. I found that Early Morning Pipe was a really well done balanced blend. I been wanting to try a scottish blend but am always scared of the orientals because in to heavy a proportion I taste soap. I tried Esoterica Pembroke and was totally disgusted by it. Soap and deodorant were all I tasted. Is this blend similar to EMP or something totally different. Thanks for the review because a couple of their blends have sounded good to me but I just never bought them. Take care my friend and see you soon,Tommy

Hi Tommy, this blend is more balanced to me, is not nearly as oriental forward, and also contains perique. It’s a different beast all on its own. It may be worth your time to try a tin…
