Correction: The bezel on this watch is not ceramic, it is a black coated stainless steel. Sorry for the incorrect information.

WatchesOnYou unbelievable, for that kind of money they did not even put in a ceramic or sapphire bezel insert. Just sad!

@@ssvs0485 Seiko uses the excuse that the current inserts can be cheaply replaced but ceramic can crack and is expensive to replace. Seems like bullshit to me. I would rather ceramic and so would almost anyone.

Had Rolex spend 20 years of developing the Spring Drive movement, the whole watch world community / timepiece snobs would have orgasmed simultaneously. But now Japanese brand Grand Seiko did it, so you know these snobs cry like little babies. I take my hat off to Grand Seiko for being really really innovative. Rolex should try that for once, being innovative that is.

I've heard experts say the movement can go 50 years without service Plus no watch has the mesmerizing smooth sweep And plus in very dusty conditions the bezel still works quite fine😳😊

Nexus Achiles they're have done a new movement but it cannot with stand shocks as much as a spring Drive grand Seiko

I own a Rolex Explorer I. I also own a Tudor BB. So no i do not hate Rolex at all. I love the brand 100%. What i mean to say is that the real watch snobs in this world do not really appreciate Grand Seiko and particularly Spring Drive as a marvel of horology. Because it is Japanese and not Swiss. I love Seiko. I own two. Only thing i do not like about Seiko is their QC. Too many QC issues.

Incredible piece. I would take this over the submariner any day. This watch will compete with most divers.

I'm not sure anyone has pointed this out to you yet, apologies if so. When adjusting the clasp extension to go over a wetsuit, you do not need to try and push up that small tab with your fingers. What you do is you lift up the 'GS' stamped part of the clasp ALL the way, this releases the ratchet system. (source: I'm looking at one on my wrist :P )

Since you wear this watch, how would you compare it too the Tudor Pelagos or even the this watch in the Titanium version, I'm looking for a travel beater that is a watch you can depend your life on (which I thinking this watch is), An awesome working looking watch that flies under the radar from thieves , I own Rolex and I love it but when I travel I sometimes don't enjoy wearing it for the notice it brings. Just my opinion, I have heard from many videos for the pro vs cons and I really am starting to like this watch more and more everyday. Please if you have looked at the other to and compared it to yours , do tell thanks

Mate from what I know the case is titanium hi polished not stainless steel. And it's working something like +-1 seconds per day maximum.

Andrei Vasile Neamtu Actually I believe you are confused with another model. They do have a titanium dive watch, but this particular model is stainless steel.

The tourbillon is a marvel, but, now you can have one for 500usd. The spring drive is a standing marvel, testament of piaget's 70k failure.

$6000? Easily get these new for mid $4k - at half the price of a Sub, and able to purchase immediately - it's not even subjective which is the better choice. Don't get wrong, plenty of justification to pay the extra for the Sub - but it is getting harder and harder for me to defend the big R when they keep giving customers the big FU.
