The new Mahle X30 motor brings the world of the super-lightweight X20 performance e-bike hub motor to a wider range of applications. Mahle X30 engine in a nutshell
As a rear-wheel motor, the new Mahle X30 promises to combine classic advantages such as low weight and discreet integration with a more mid-motor-oriented support and high robustness. It aims to score points in E-Gravel bikes as well as provide better support for E-Urban bikes and E-Children's bikes. To this end, the new Mahle unit uses the well-known slim and lightweight batteries of the X20 Performance system (237 Wh and 350 Wh plus range extender), which is well established in the road bike sector. The electronics and display technology also come from there. However, the X30 aims to provide more support in the medium speed range.
