I have found with my roundhouse if it seized up in the rear position, that you can fix it by rotating the center clear position a bit. The jam is caused by the cylinder not being rotated all the way into position. If you fix that. It will work correctly. It took me a long time to figure this out but it seems pretty reliable now.

My roundhouse had a little scare with the priming handle but I managed to get it back to normal, so I think it may be a common issue but it also isn't broken so who knows.

Love all your videos Coop!!! Also, what happened to you happened to me as well, I ended up fixing it by simply rotating the clear part with my hand just a little. Once the clear part line up with the plunger tube it should un-jam it.... assuming we had same issue. Hope that works for you as well, keep up the good work!

I feel the Roundhouses you got may have been by chance. Rarely does nerf mess up that bad. Ignoring the doomlands gun that jams like hell. At least I turned that stock into a cool attachment.

This is what the Peacekeeper revolver should’ve been, or at least a “lite” version of the Roundhouse. Oh well.

I just bought my roundhouse today, and after a few hundred rounds, my blaster’s priming handle ceased up in the back. Eventually I found out that when this malfunction occurs, you can simply rotate the transparent cylinder to the right, and push the priming handle forward, and then your roundhouse will start working again

Like the roundhouse me centerioun did the same type if jam, there is like a mechanical lock that broke or something and I cant move the handle forward or back and since it is in halfway i cant take the mag out or use the jam breach :(

With the one we have we found out to only load 10, once the foam balls were use an shot a few times the friction from the rough surface of the balls would stop the clear part from completing it's full movement. The loading springs put just a slight to much force on the ball kinda acting as brakes

Rival is probably my favorite nerf series. Most guns hold lots of rounds, don't jam often, and all look badass! Wish i had them when i was a kid.

I love this nerf gun. It is pretty accurate. I landed alot of my shots, and when I did not, I still had tons of amo left. Plus, I used this when it was pretty dark outside too and still had good accuracy.

Does any one else here have childhood memories of wanting a Ballzooka? :D Fifteen yellow balls and a rotating turret... Ook, disappointed to hear that there might be reliability issues, the strong Cycloneshock vibe is very, very appealing. Thanks, Coop772, for the heads-up! It kinda screams for comparison to the Artemis, against which it falls rather short in most measures. Hopefully Nerf makes a more simple, uncomplicated Disruptor/Cycloneshock analogue for the Rival line since that would naturally invite much more flattering comparison to those pistols instead, but a Strongarm type would also be delightful. Dart Zone's new Apex blaster is exactly that, so this viewer is eager to get one of those when it can be found in stock locally, but a compelling Nerf offering would be great. This viewer's admittedly modest mechanical intuition says Rival balls and hammer prime won't work well together, but if this intuition is very wonderfully wrong, a Rival Hammershot analogue would be AMAZEBALLS.

Nice detailed review. You have 3 to sample so its close to accurate. I didn’t like the roundhouse much because of its size and loading process but it does have high capacity. Would still preferred the takedown instead. Keep going coop 👍. Can’t wait for ultra 2 review.

I’ve had the priming handle in my Roundhouse lock up too If you rotate the clear carousel mechanism it will usually allow You to push the priming handle forward and fire as normal

Hello, maybe you can help me. Do you know the purpose of the little rubber inside the muzzle of the blaster, just at the top, I was wondering if it can affect the velocity. I did not see it on my other Rival Blaster. I have 5 of them in total and I just receive the Roundhouse XX-1500 and it shoot so weak in comparaison of others, even my XV-700. Thanks !

“Krispy as a Kronos” -Coop 2020

To fix the permanent jam I found it works to empty out the amo and manually rotate the clear portion to align it properly.

I was waiting for this for like three weeks

I jammed mine the first shot i fired and i noticed is that the round got stuck in between the rotating mechanism and the mag tube. When i dry fired it didnt have a problem. Also when i primed back hard it fed fine.

That looks like a fun one. My Heracles slide stuck all the way back after shooting it a few times. I had to hit it hard with my palm as a desperation move. I unscrewed the left & right pieces but that didn't do anything. It solved it but yeah it feels like I broke the thing. However it works fine. I'm wondering if it's inherent in the well I don't know just being stiff until it's broken in no pun intended. I say that because the slide was very stiff until that happened and now it's smooth. still more solid than the Kronos and easer to prime imho. I can detect a slight plastic rattle in the back once in a while after it fires. It's a walmart exclusive so I have 90 days to return it and try another. but at first I'm like how am I going to return a blaster with the slide primed all the way back that won't fit in the box lol although now that I say that I saw someone returning a TV to Wallyworld sans a box.

It works great but gets stuck sometimes. There are two ways to fix that. Pulling the black part hard instead of pushing it if it's stuck at the end or rotating the transparent part a bit. To prevent it from getting stuck you need to prime it hard.

Hey coop.... if you breach load a round after priming then tech you have a 16 shot blaster after you load the rest if it works... whats one extra in the chamber for fun if it works.....addendum.... my roundhouse works flawlessly mechanically but unless i tested it wrong it averaged 80fps with one 106 a few 80s and most mid to high 70s

Honestly showing up here a year later, the Roundhouse seems very interesting for my very specific purpose of wanting an as high capacity as possible blaster to fit into my (very large) shorts pocket to carry around my college during weeklongs. The Roundhouse looks like it could fit... If I manage to remove the whole hand guard thing. And assuming it works.... Hm.

0:50 I DO use the breach load feature of the Roundhouse for "Nerfed" shooting squad executions. One shooter is given a cheese puff ball, the others given rival rounds.

Man i have been waiting for a gun like this.. the cycloneshock was awesome so I wanted a 6 round capacity rival revolver.. but this is waaaaay better!!!
