The system itself is simple and clear, but don't mind it much. What is really the meat of the book are the tables, oracles and generators it have! Oh my, so juicy! It uses D66 and other D6 based tables, a favorite of mine! Thank you for the review, so more people get to know this incredible game!

I just ordered the book from amazon (canada) - 18$. Big fan of OSR games... curious to try this full solo. I usually play pre-made adventure (dungeon crawling) in solo with B/X rule. I follow the campaign encounters and quite enjoy discovering the work of designers. I use an oracle (mythic one pager that brought marvellous situations to life). Quite curious to try to one since I'm familliar with b/x and seems to have a good framework to create random situations.

Thanks for your interest! If you follow the link in the description to Long Shadows Press on Drive Thru RPG, you'll find it. The one I showed, Jarnheimr Saga, uses the Tricube Tales system, and I have a version (longship cover, 8x11) called Jarnhemr 2D6 Post-Ragnarok Viking Adventure. Same setting but uses the Traveller / Cepheus Engine 2D6 rules.

Wow! I really enjoy 2D6 engines and I'm proud of Traveller/Cepheus! So, not only you did one Viking Saga, did two? Wow, Cepheus and Tricube Tales, two favorites, I look forward it! Please, do reviews or playthroughs if you haven't done it yet! Wish you luck!
