Very nice review! I loved the camera inside the tank while sucking water. 👍 Yes, the chain on the bottom is for static electricity discharge. Yes, the metal is too thin. I bought that vacuum when it first came out and when I casually set it down I didn't see one of the attachments on the floor and it dented the bottom of the tank. A plastic tank would be much tougher but the stainless steel looks really cool. The holes on the side of the floor attachment are actually perfectly placed, they're there to allow air to flow from the sides to he center. I prefer the plastic extension tubes over the metal, but that's my preference. One last complaint is that the vacuum is top heavy. With the crappy casters it's prone to tipping over. I bought a Ridgid hose to replace the junk Ryobi hose and I put a vacuum bag in mine to preserve the filter and you can get an adapter for your longer crevasse tool. Like you, despite its faults, I still like the vacuum,. cordless vacuums are incredibly convenient. I have all of the Ryobi vacuums and by far the 3 gallon is my favorite, I use it so much that I bought a second one. I have a ton of One+ tools and the 3 gallon vac is my favorite.

the chain is for mobility you can put your dog on it then put a piece of meat hanging out of your pocket and he or she will pull the Hoover along for you lol

in other words it is a piece of junk. now available for 42 dollars on capital one shopping. i was going to buy but not now. how do you adapt batteries over from another brand?
