REVIEW: Seiko Mini Turtle SRPC039 with measurements and lime shot

In this review, I show my latest purchase from Gnomon Watches; the blue Seiko Turtle SRPC039. This is known as the "Baby Turtle" but as you'll see, it's a watch that stands out on its own, and is not just a mini version of the "Turtle".

You prolly dont give a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my gf for the last weeks :)

Very well presented. I love the whole Prospex series- they are tough, reliable, and a great value! The mini Turtle is a great size... some of the bigger Prospex look ridiculous on me, but 42.3mm is good.

These are great watches. I recently bought the PADI version. Really happy with it. One of the biggest surprises was the strap (its blue and would look good on this watch). Really comfy and nothing like the similar looking SKX straps

The opening sequence would have benefited from the lume being energized a bit. ;)

I just got the black version on the bracelet in the UK for 235 pounds, thats about 280 dollars brand new. Theres some really good deals going atm. There was also 2 limited edition Zimbe mini turtle editions SRPC17 and SRPC19. Stunning watches. I personally don't think it should be called the mini turtle. I think it looks much more like the Sumo, but even having said that I think it should be given it's own name. A couple of observations. You won't get your camera to quickly focus on the required area if youv got a busy background. The camera will always be snapping between the foreground and the background. Make a plain dark background like a bed sheet. Also some closeups would be good on the dial and especially (if it's a Seiko diver) the case. Other than that a nice flowing review. 👍

It was a bit of a mixed bag Bob. Nothing too exciting... some micro brand stuff but the only popular model I really like is the Tudor GMT, and hopefully I'll get a chance at a Rolex Pepsi at some point. Next year I expect Omega will be interesting with Bond and Space editions.

It´s not Mini except for the lug to lug measurement. 43 mm lug to lug is almost unheard of for a diver.

It’s more about diversity. I buy the watches myself and I don’t mind if they’re £3 or £3000, but don’t worry, plenty of premium reviews coming... gold Daytona next
