omg! I once flew from Sri Lanka to my country with Sri Lankan airways. There was a cyclone passing around that time. The pilot did mention there'll be lot of turbulence and also said "we'll land you safely". There was usual turbulence like in any flight en route but the flight has to stay up in the air (before landing) as the airport had many flights to take off. We had to stay up in the air for 30 mins with t-storm and rain. The turbulence was so bad! + everyone in the flight were acting up their anxiety. We thought we'll never land and will be blown away cuz the impact was pretty strong! I felt the pilot did a real good job handling such turbulence + him updating and assuring us safety was incredibly. It kept me calm at least. I really wish some of their air hostesses wear a smile than show tension and sadness on their faces...assuming they're are trained to do so. I know they aren't soldiers but maintaining a positive outlook is good.

Never have flown on Air Sri Lankan. I have friends from Colombo so it was nice to see their culture so well represented. Yes they really know their Tea :)

Nice review Josh. I have flown with UL quite a few times. LHR-CMB, CDG-CMB, MAA-CMB, BLR-CMB. I love their hospitality and food. I am an Indian and I must admit UL cabin crew are more hospitable than AI or 9W. I have been flying with them for the past 15yrs. Before their cabin products lagged a little but now they have renovated the seats. But overall they are my fav in South Asia. Now that I moved to Canada I dont get much chance to fly with them. Hope to fly with them soon.

Srilankan is amazing! Splendid hospitality. The crew in all flights I have flown are great! Air India on the other hand, as a brand is disappointing and their crew just doesn't deserve to be flying. Age of the crew doesn't matter. They have more attitude than the captain! LOL

Just back from a 10day trip to Malaysia & Singapore. Josh, you were bang on at 13:57!! Malaysia Airlines staff felt overworked/whelmed when asked for help on minor things: seat setting/entertainment etc. No other issues on their Boeing 737-8.

I watch his videos in quarantine so that I can remember the experience I had till about one year ago ..... Our family was a frequent traveller loved flights very much luckily I haven't had the probs like he told in the other flight cause I havent travelled inthem I I especially like srilankan airline been in it for 2 time from Kerala to Colombo and vice versa It was a 35 min flight so it was like we get in ,and take off they serve the meal we eat it captian anounces the descent we land It felt like getting in the flight to eat lunch and their service ..nothing to say fantastic😎😎😎❤️ Josh love from india

Great video as usual! Having flown UL in J on the DOH-CMB route (4 hours) on the same aircraft with the same configuration, I guess that leaves their regional and international J in a weird spot, especially considering I have also flown UL on the CMB-HKG route on a A321 in the real regional J seat on a flight that is almost 2 hours longer than the DOH-CMB route..... Have to agree with you that the 333 J is a solid product, beverages aplenty, food is hit or miss, crew is fine...but considering their J pricing I would definitely use them again. The CMB lounge though is ppfff.
