I’ve got the water tank at max capacity, and activated the cooler option, but the water does not flow up to where the ice pack is… any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Sounds like a bad water pump. Still under warranty?

@@HubersRanch got it 2 months ago from Amazon, but didn’t get a chance to try it until 2 days ago, and by then the return window from Amazon expired… So I sent a message to Vagkri support today… along with a video showing that the water does not flow up… hopefully they’ll help me 😓

Does this need a window vent? Can i use it without a vent for apartment
@HubersRanch
@HubersRanch Жыл бұрын
You can if you enjoy a subtropical climate in your apartment. If you rin it without an open window you'll pusg 70%+ humidity in about 10-15mins.

Do I need to plug it to use it, is it really portable
@HubersRanch
@HubersRanch 10 ай бұрын
Yes it needs 120V power. It's got 4 casters as long as it's not full it's pretty manageable to move around the house.

Have you taken the bottom tank to clean? I have the same unit that I used last year. I noticed, what looks like sludge from the elements. I couldn’t find any diagrams.

Have you tried unscrewing the screws that connect the bottom part from the top one? I would think that is how you take it appart.

Why do u have to keep water in it and filling it

It is an evaporative cooler it needs the water to cool the air. It's not an air conditioner that uses a freon.

Could I use this to cool my single wide?
@HubersRanch
@HubersRanch Жыл бұрын
It's rated for about 400 sqft. Probably too small to do the entire single wide

I think the warranty says only 12 months rather than 18 months

www.taotronics.com/pages/warranty if you register your product you get an extended warranty, default would be 12 months.

Hey..How well do you think this would do outside patio area?
@HubersRanch
@HubersRanch Жыл бұрын
I use it on my patio and put it on the "swing" mode. Gives you that nice cool breeze while you are dining or just chilling there. So for me it works.

One more question lol.. Did you ever added essential oils to the water like Peppermint oil to help with the 🦟s?

I have not. My backyard is all stone and gravel, keeps the mosquitoes away automatically, plus where I live we already don't have many. Very dry here.

No offense do but what kind of review doesn't even say how well the product works you go over the feature sets and all that stuff and the humidity I live in the in the Northeast so it's humidity enough don't need that anymore LOL but how how well did it cool I mean you don't say that I can't tell you how many videos I clicked on on reviews and stuff where it's just basically a commercial sitting at you pay for yours and it's not out of pocket you know I don't know if you have an affiliate link down here I'm blind I'm not going to bother to look at the field for my with my screen readers LOL but all of these videos I click on none of them say anything about how well it work what temperature it brought the room down to from the existing ambient temperature nothing what am I supposed to base a purchase on or a prospective purchase on when all you're telling me is it's feature sets and I have no idea how it actually works in cooling off a room you don't saywould I gather from this from all these videos reviewing a swamp coolers or evaporative coolers and no mention of what the temperature is before and after would I take from it is that they suck and that I guess unless you live in a desert you're not going to get anything great out of it if I'm wrong please reply I'd like someone to reply and tell me how the hell these things actually work and cooling like the you know you just start off at 90 and it brought it down to 70 that you start off at 90 and it brought it down to 87 what is it I don't know you don't tell me sincerely David Raphael AKA Bob the blind bedroom guitarist

You might want to look into HOW evaporative coolers work before going on a rant about a review because it's clear by your elaborate rant on this video you have no clue. But from where you live I suggest an AC unit for you, an evaporative cooler will not bring what you are looking for. You would have understood how well it works from this review if you know the slightest of how these systems work. They work by putting humidity into the air and blow that, the colder the water is that they can evaporate the cooler it will feel. You will NEVER get more than probably 5 maximum 10° cooler than ambient temperature. Remember you need airflow in the room you are cooling down or you'll have water running down your walls. But instead of whining on peoples videos which are not sponsored btw to a simple internet search. You took the time to write a novel in that time it took you to type that you would have found your answer.
