Hey! I personally use their Steam-Activated Smoothing & Repairing Milk & Serum for fine hair and it works amazingly but I have used a normal heat protector before and it worked fine 😊

Hey. Is it also hard for you to get the heatplates together? They just need some pressure otherwise they just won‘t touch the hair :( could you please check if yours has that too? So I‘d know mine is broken

I have a question: Does the flat iron get hot or is it just used when the steam comes out? ( I’ve burnt my hair and I don’t know how this works as any sort of iron will cause more damage)

The straightener itself gets hot. To be honest, it still damages my hair just as much despite the claim of lesser damage. It does look smoother though than non-steam irons.

Hey! I have always had to go over my roots many times with all my straighteners as I have really curly roots. I feel like it’s the same with the Steampod it just takes getting used to it as it has a larger plate but it does get the roots polished really well, you might just need to go over it 1-3x times ✨

For my hair ,steampod is better than dyson or any other straightener My hair never felt smooth and never looked shiny from a straightener Steampod can do both for my fine hair 🙂

It does but if you have curly hair like me you might need to go over it a couple of times but I experience the same with other straighteners 😊
