To clarify following a comment you made about her nasal sound during Killing Voice... It was reported that she was actually suffering from a cold that day, which helps explain how nasal she sounded compared to her normal vocal tone. The fact that she still sounded as good as she did, even while sick, is pretty insane.

I just realized that Taeyeon's Purpose album and IU's Love Peom album that including Lullaby were released with in a month of each other. Almost 2 yrs after he passed. Both of them were very close to Jonghyun. I had commented on your Patreon Purpose review that Jonghyun's passing may have influenced that Purpose. I don't know if IU has said if Lullaby was dedicated to Jonghyun but seems possible. Though she may have intended multiple interpretations. I just realized how much all 3 of them have in common as people and musical artists looking at their discographies. Eight is such an interesting song because it sounds happy but the lyrics are actually quite sad because IU (like Taeyeon) experienced a lot of loss within only 2-3 yrs. Sorry to bring you down.

guess no one told you she was sick when filming killing voice , that's why it sounded nasal at places. she had a flu and apologized for not doing as best as she wanted 😭. like girl shut up lol anyways i really want you to react to songs from modern times if not the whole album. it's her best.

The nasal tone you speak about in killing voice during the eight live perfomance is actually because she was sick during that recording and had a stuffy nose, thus all her singing during that had more of a nasal tone than whats usual.
