I love the way it turned out! For Ink Brush 2, you can fix it by going to Grain in the brush settings and changing the blend mode from Height to Linear Height :))

Hey! I really love your art! ❤️ A question, do you colour the line art or you simply reduce its opacity before shading and adding the details?

That’s a super good question! Once I have the flats on, and I’m totally happy with how it’s looking, I change the colour of the lineart to match the layers (sometimes a bit darker) and then I merge! I then often blend it all together as I paint! My skin and hair are often on different layers, and sometimes they are not! It’s fun to fool around with! It’s also fun to use fun colours instead of matching ones to your flats! Also thank you, you’re very sweet! 🥺💖

@@hailiiz You’re welcome! And thank you very much for the explanation, I was always wondering how you and other people did that! I would usually just leave the line art as black or a darker colour because I gave up 😅

@@nightriverart and that’s a totally ok thing to do!! Remember, it’s YOUR art! Do what you enjoy! If you love to keep your line art, do it! Try using some colours for it as well! Experiment! 💖💖

Hey! I bought the advanced set. But when I downloaded the file, it will not open on Procreate because it does not recognize it as a procreate brush.. Can you please help me?

Hey I know this is old but I had the same problem so just going to post for anybody else struggling to figure it out. You click on the procreate zip file and then click on the ellipses to open the menu bar and then click "open in" and choose "procreate ". Also, the photoshop file worked as well except for one brush. Anyways, hope this helps. :)

Hi great video! I was just wondering how you managed to get the brushes to work on procreate for your ipad. I had recently bought the advanced brush set and am trying to download the MAC OS files for the procreate file of his brushes into my Ipad via my google drive. But for whatever reason when I try to download it, it won't let me and says "unsupported file type" rendering me unable to import the brush files into procreate. Any advice? Thanks

Hey hey! Hmm- I can’t remember how it worked when I downloaded the files! Is there multiple file type folders? Or is it in a .ZIP file? Photoshop brushes are compatible but I’m not sure what you mean by MAC OS? 🤔

@@hailiiz There is a zip file I had unzipped. One folder showed a "MACOSX" version and the other folder was named "Rossdraws ADVANCED brush pack" so after that I moved the files to my google drive so that I could download the procreate file. I was wondering if I was missing something. I intend to use the brushes for procreate rather than photoshop right now. But when I tried downloading it onto my Ipad it couldn't really read the files and said they were unspported. I had emailed their support today but seeing you got it to work on your ipad I was curious how you did it.

I am honestly unsure!! I would give that a looksie! It should say on the purchase page but I just checked and it DOES NOT! I will see if there is anything from Ross that says!

I am not sure about photoshop, but for procreate, download them from your email into your files on your ipad, then press the file and press the open in procreate!
