Revisiting Burgess Falls by kayak - An Epic Adventure

Жыл бұрынRecently we wanted to revisit one of the best waterfalls we have encountered during our adventures. Burgess Falls is located in Sparta, TN. The waterfall spills approximately 136 feet (41 m) into a large limestone gorge enclosed by sheer 100-200-foot (30-61 m) walls. To reach the falls by kayak you should launch from Cane Hollow Recreation Area.

Oh yeah, I can see why you wanted to go back there, those Falls were fantastic. Always nice to meet up with people who recognise you when out hiking and I get a real kick when people say that they have then went on to do the same hike that I had previously done and they had watched. I am always like that when I see deer, as soon as the camera is on, they are off and running. Bit of an obstacle course in arts to get to the Falls and the spray coming off them looked real intense but man what an amazing sight they were! That was one great day out, cheers Alan
