The fact that no one drops there = Uncontested loot, probably no wasted heals or minis or anything, and especially towards the end of Chapter 1 you have some really good rotations: - Good zone = all of junk junction to yourself too, plenty of metal - Weaker zone = quick loot up and third party people dying in Pleasant, or slip round south for safety In all honesty it's not THAT bad of a location on the map once you know how not to wedge yourself between Tilted and Loot Lake and die

The worst poi ever wasn’t even a poi. It was an entire biome. The jungle biome from chapter 4. Never before did a biome ruin the entire chapter. But here we are.

coral was almost always uncontested making it (if zone favored you) a great spot to loot up especialy with the sharks usualy dropping purple loot. i wont deny the flaws but its over hated

@@Galaxy-en2iuThey buffed it in the update that added the Burst Pulse Rifle after the abduction, they doubled the number of chests so it had the most out of any POI on the map, plus the sharks from what I remember. It then got buffed further the next update in C2S8 by having that alien crash site right next to it and Stealthy which also had a ton of chests plus made rotations to Pleasant and the zone much easier. Definitely overhated. I feel like it was so bad in C2S3-6 that few even landed there to see how much better it became in C2S7&8, especially since the player count overall dropped significantly in those 2 seasons too.

Im in the haunted hills fanclub, anyways for chapter 1 I'd have to go with Loot Lake pre cube event. Annoying to move around in the water, central location at that and barely any loot, most buildings were scattered across.

i really don't know why ritzy riviera existed, it checks all the things of a bad POI : - Edge of map - Bad Layout (mostly vertical) - Too similar to another POI (snooty steppes...) - way too far from any relevant locations - Too little relevance in chapter 5 season 1. at least hazy hillside had ... aesthetic.

noooo ritzy was good for comp, many slurp barrels, they even added a vault, decent mats outside the poi (brick), it was right next to the forecast tower, and the hill beside it had a launch pad. if you pulled first zone in a tournament you can build a 1 by 1 on top of that hill then refarm your brick and wait for forecaast tower to spawn. Very good for competitive but i can see someone who plays pubs not liking it.

that was my favorite location in all of chapter 5... (it had an underground area with three gaurraunteed blue or higher weapons, which mean you had good off-spawn loot, and a society mini boss that gave you access to a vault with a rare chest. also it was a really big poi with lots of loot.) even I, a walmart bag of a player in season one, got at least 4-5 wins from doing that and rotating north to fight people.

Ritzy was great honestly. Verticality was not an issue at all, especially not compared to snooty. Loot was good (Had a mini-vault)

A forgotten one is breakwater bay, it just stayed for the whole of chapter 4 and lost it’s charm after the first season

I think a horrible POI for this chapter is reckless railways, it was okay when there was the medallion there but after the season ended it sucks

reckless railways is a cool poi, i think pleasant plaza and ritzy riviera suck as they are literally just copies of snooty steppes but less vertical and more flat

Mentions i would personally put in there: Tomato Town: Literally no loot, and ontop of that in the corner of the map. Bossless Fortilla: (Chapter 2 Season 4 Fortilla where half the location is missing). Sludgey Swamp: Slurpy swamp but most of the loot is gone along with the main buildings and the slurp water (most of the slurp barrels were removed when this location changed in chapter 2 season 7). Polar Peak: After the Cattus monster emerged in chapter 1 season 9 the main castle was removed along with most of the easy mats and loot in the location, being just a few small buildings left behind. Stealthy Stronghold: The only reason you went here was because you were afk, or when the predator mythics was here in chapter 2 season 5 (both mythics still sucked lol). The Ruins: I understand it was a broken down 'haunted' version of the authority but the locations was almost entirely pointless and you rarely rotated here unless it was out of neccessity or you wanted to get up high to scout for players to w key. Greasy grove during season x: THAT TACO TIME DANCE JESUS CHRIST IT GRIEFS EVERY FIGHT AT THE WORST TIME. Sunny Steps in Chapter 3 and Chapter 1: Barely any loot in the corner of the map, the chapter 1 variant was only passable because of ballers. Atleast chapter 3 had The Daily Bulge and Lustrous Lagoon and the seven outpost which spawned rifts nearby. Knotty Nets: Corner of the map with very little loot, at least to the north there was a slurp truck and it had some ziplines up to the mini volcano with the geyser for easy rotation to slappy shores or mega city. Breakwater Bay: North- West with very little loot, the only reason you go there is for an easy early game so you could w key The Citadel, or Eclisped Estate.

Grand Glacier is also bad. Edge of map, vertical building, bad mythic, hard to land there because of the altitude and an annoying maze/yard to navigate while fighting.

Rebels Roost in the second half of Ch5S1, the fact they put a quest there and alerted everyone to the bot who sold grapple blades absolutely RUINED the POI. Before that it was actually good, a peaceful spot to land then rotate further into the map

As someone who loves haunted hills I was surprised seeing it on this list but I get your argument, its basically at the edge of the map and if you land there you basically have to speedrun looting chests and materials before having to run to zone so I get that

i know there were some people who aren't fans of the citadel from chapter 4 or chapter 3's version of lazy lagoon one of my least favorites was corny crops from chapter 2 season 8 and while slurpy swamp was great, it fell from grace when it became sludgy swamp after the slurp factory was abducted in chapter 2 season 7

Holly Hatchery is my favorite POI of all time. It was so fun bouncing around fighting people, and it was impossible for people to sweat there. It was the perfect place to fight people and just have a good time. I miss that place. PS: How did you not include Grand Glacier on the list? It's high up and the building is very vertical, so it's hard to loot, it is on the edge of the map, the mythic sucked and the maze is annoying to navigate.

I hated coral castle, boney burbs, moisty palms, taco time greasy grove, chapter 3 season 2 blimps, colossal crops, spire wasn't too bad imo but holley hatchery was garbage same with how we got barneys butthole that season with some water in the bottom of it. Some locations were tolerable like boney burbs but omg some locations were just bad like really bad

Breakwater bay deserves to be on the list, literally no point in landing there unless you were a passive player. Also I disagree on hatchery, once you got used to 0 grav fights were fun.
