In this video, I show you how to permanently fix your old Tesla carpet floor mats that bunch up under the accelerator pedal and brake pedal. This is a safety issue and is caused by failure of the adhesive behind the velcro pads attached to the bottom side of the floor mats. I spoke with Tesla about this problem and they do not have a redesign or solution other than to purchase a new set of floor mats. Instead, I purchased the following carpet thread and heavy duty needles, and stitched the velcro pads onto the bottom of the floor mat. This should be a permanent fix to prevent the floor mat from bunching up until the mat itself wears out. I hope this helps you.
