Күн бұрынMarathon stator Generator rewinding,Again the same cause of failure to the winding,Rotor rubs into the lamination,it’s because lack of maintenance the periodic maintenance is important to be done to avoid mechanical failure and it lead to destroy the winding and other parts of the generator.
Before rewinding check the lamination by coreloss test and it seems a bit of hot spot but our slot liner is good until 150 degrees C so call it good to rewind.

Fascinating. This is black art! Thanks for the share. If you don't mind asking, is it possible to take an existing 600V generator and modify the internals to make it a 480V? How much more cost effective is that compared to just buying a new generator of the right voltage?
