RF08 RWX WatkinsCole Unnecessary overtake, close pass and squeeze

On this bit of road I always take primary position as when the bus lane and other lane merge people quite often don't give you enough room. It didn't stop this guy though who overtook the slower cyclist behind me, in the right hand turn only lane, then tried to get back into the lane that I was in apparently without realising that the lane was already full.
He said that he didn't do anything wrong to which I replied that he was driving like a twat.

That small piece of road is so badly designed, with dozens of conflicts shown on various cycling channels each year for many years now. Astonishing that it hasn't been redesigned by now.

It really is awful, especially when you have buses trying to get from the bus stop on the far left to the lane on the far right so they can turn immediately right.

Mate you’re just trying to get views on KZfaq. He didn’t do anything wrong here and you’re only doing it for your little viewers so you can all get pissed off together. What a sad little life you have to be doing that

To be honest mate, the guy in the van was in the right completely. You cut into his lane when you saw the bus. He then overtook said cyclists which is done all the time and is okay and you went back into your little cycle lane. I don’t see what the problem is here except you’re just trying to get some views on KZfaq to feel better about yourself and shame a company

You have to understand, you caused him to back off the other van's rear bumper and he could no longer smell the diesel fumes, the sudden toxic fresh(er) air surging into the driver area caused more oxygen than normal to reach what was left of his brain and it went a bit wobbly on him.

I've done plenty of cycling over the years having completed an ironman triathlon and can safely say that the cyclist is complaining about nothing. There was loads of room he didn't squeeze you. You obviously just need to feel hard done by. Are you a happy person or are you miserable and feed off conflict? I really hope you can get over things like this and just be happy. All the best.
