Cornwall's answer to DJ Premier, Barry Beats, takes on the legendary Rhythm roulette challenge and quite literally smashes it to microbes. Watch as Barry rummages sightless through the racks of Camborne Record (snd smoking paraphernalia) shop 'Lost in music'.
Then follow him back to his tiny studio where his blind finds are revealed.
Marvel as Barry chops and snips his way through a whole heap of hair, keeping it super funky at all times, finally to reveal a stone cold Barry Banga, not to mention some dubious dance moves!!!!

And that's how you turn a song into an instrument. I like how he detailed that it was a few days later, not like it took 10 minutes. Now, I know a beat can be laid down quickly, but sampling takes longer. I look forward to doing my own version of this one of these days.

If you search '2 face - hey hey hey' on youtube or search '2 face' on discogs that track comes up. I think it was a record by 2 members of natural Elements ( L Swift and A Butta) and not released under the Natural Elements name. It was indeed produced by The Creators

@@Sispex I like it better this way. Good things take time... People should know that. I actually believe that's a major reason for why a lot of people don't reach their potential. We're always made to believe the brilliant people just sat on an MPC one day and busted out the illest track. When in reality it's the first hundreds and thousands of hours before making shit that enable you to get good some day. And then there's still a lot of work involved. Also most Rythm Roulette bits I saw certainly weren't done in an hour anyway.

This is by far the best rhythm roulette. All these big time producers who cheat by going to the soul section of the record shop or not being blind folded properly are a joke.
